https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shing%C5%8D,_Aomori#Local_attractionsWhen Jesus Christ was 21 years old, he came to Japan and pursued knowledge of divinity for 12 years. He went back to Judea at age 33 and engaged in his mission. However, at that time, people in Judea would not accept Christ's preaching. Instead, they arrested him and tried to crucify him on a cross. His younger brother, Isukiri casually took Christ's place and ended his life on the cross.
Christ, who escaped the crucifixion, went through the ups and downs of travel, and again came to Japan. He settled right here in what is now called Herai Village, and died at the age of 106.
On this holy ground, there is dedicated a burial mound on the right to deify Christ, and a grave on the left to deify Isukiri.
The above description was given in a testament by Jesus Christ. Discuss

I’m in the theater right now to see the Heaven’s Feel movie. So far I’ve ran into:
Three fat neck beards playing F/GO in front of me. A Saber cosplayer two rows down. A gay black couple sitting right next to me. More weeabs above me saying this is the best route.
I wish when I was selecting my assigned seat I chose directly two rows down instead....

Guys give me suggestions on what I should do while I'm here.
So I went with my sister yesterday cause she really really wanted me to go, so I bought a half-day ticket for only yesterday since it opened at like 4pm, and it was only 24 bucks. But when the lady at the ticket booth gave me the wristband, she gave me the four-day deluxe band by accident so I get to go today for free essentially.
Of course I'm gonna buy some swag but let me know what else I should look out for.

So when I first built this computer two years ago, I got an 850W EVGA PSU. It worked great until April of last year and it started making this God forsaken chirping noise, I bought a replacement EVGA PSU two months later and it worked fine...until now. The chirping noise is back, granted it's not as strong as the first EVGA PSU but it's still noticeable and very much annoying.
The PSU is fully modular, if I buy a Corsair PSU can I just swap the blocks out without messing with the cables? I'm not buying another EVGA PSU after this.

Who's really in the wrong? Melkor for singing his own song and creating """disharmony""" in the music (which didn't amount to anything significant anyways), or Iluvatar for not letting Melkor just sing his own song? I'd argue the latter; what's with Gods and thinking they're all high and mighty? Would it kill them to be a little more humble?

It was trash, damn near walked out of the theater when I saw the RX-78 appear. How dare they taint Gundam; at least Eva was spared.
AMA I guess.

I would like to take this time to apologize to Chally and Co. for not taking their advice which could have easily prevented this. So the reason I haven't responded to anyone is because I've been coming to the realization that the girl I've been struggling with has no interest in ending things on a good note (or providing closure at all for that matter), and it's been eating me alive for the past three months. I'll probably never know why she's changed, why she's clearly treating me differently, what I might have done to cause this, or whether or not our date or hanging out as friends meant anything to her at all, and it fucking hurts. I'm a teetotaler and that's been something I've taken pride in but at this point I don't care about my ideals anymore and I just want the pain to go away. Will a liquor store still sell me alcohol even though my ID says "Under 21 until X date" even though I'm 23? Also, is Vodka a good starting alcohol? I was told it has no taste and I was just going to mix it in with Gatorade or something. I don't want anything that has a burning sensation, and I don't know what wine is like so I'm not sure if that's a good one to get hammered on.

My response to Das in another thread has got me thinking more and more about the fact that despite being raised Catholic, the idea of the Greek gods has spoken to me more than anything else. And I'm not trying to be ironic or meme or anything. I have been very unsatisfied with Christian theology for a long time in my life, other religions seem completely alien to me, and atheism personally is just too....depressing. But as I looked more and more into Greek culture and more specifically their religion, it sparked an interest no other religion has, and got me looking into trying to understand it.

Don't be a fucking pleb. Anyways, I was walking around a shopping center on Monday while waiting for my car to get out of the shop for a simple oil change. Stopped off at a Gamestop and got the Legendary Dragons Decks box for ten bucks. Came with three structure decks, one Dark Magician/dragon deck, one Cyber Dragon deck, and one Odd Eyes Pendulum deck. Shit is pretty cool. Played against my sister's BF today and went back and forth in win/loss; he has a good Aqua deck. Discuss Yugioh I guess.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/seattles-soda-tax-experiment-is-doomed-to-failure/article/2645568TL;DR: >Seattle implements a $1.75 per ounce tax on sugary drinks >Tax is designed to drop obesity in the city and increase revenue for other health programs >A $16 24 pack of Gatorade is now $27 >People are now going outside the city to buy their drinks >Beer/alcohol sales have also increased >No evidence that taxing sugary drinks heavily has ever killed obesity (such as with Mexico) Meanwhile: >I live literally on the opposite end of the country from Seattle >My local Publix is doing a buy-1-get-1-free on 8-packs of Powerade >I walk out with 48 bottles of Powerade for about $14 >Not obese

So yesterday I got two ribeyes at a Whole Foods Market for around 16 bucks. 10oz, USDA choice, somewhat decent marbling, the whole shebang. I cooked one yesterday and I plan on cooking the other today. My problem though is that when I got the meat on the pan and searing, it started to shrink up and the edges lifted off the pan; creating all sorts of uneven cooking problems.
I don't know if it was because of the pan I was using, I don't have a proper cast iron and the pan I was using isn't entirely flat. I was gonna use a slightly bigger pan but one that was definitely more flat. I also don't know if the temperature on the stove might have played a role, I preheated the stove but I had it all the way up, not sure if I needed it on like a 6/7 out of 10 instead.
Any steak experts have any good ideas?

I watch streams of CNN on Youtube when doing other stuff because I like having some sort of live background noise. This commercial occasionally pops up but after several searches of the lyrics I can not find the name of the song anywhere. Would anyone know what it is or who the artist is?

Supposed to have a second date with the QT tomorrow. I told her Sunday that I'd text her tonight just to confirm. However yesterday night she texted me asking if we could slightly change what we were planning, but the time would be the same. I agreed and that was that.
Should I still text to confirm tonight or is that unnecessary since she texted to confirm kind of yesterday night?

Spent all day yesterday with the cutie from work I saw Spider-Man with. She's super into Marvel and has me doing "Homework" basically catching up on all the Marvel films I haven't seen.
So right now I'm watching Iron Man 3, and man I don't know what to think about it. I don't like how the main bad guy is just a druggie actor but at least the rest of the plot is coherent.

My birthday is in two and a half weeks, and this will be the second time ever I'll be spending it with friends having fun. I never really celebrated it before because:
>Throughout school life, B-Day always landed on either the very first day or first week of school. >First B-Day after graduating I was a literal NEET who laid around in bed all day while everyone else in the house worked/had school. >Worked 12 hours shifts the next two B-Days
Last year was the first B-Day I went out with friends and had fun, I don't really count going out to dinner with my family as celebrating because we do that all the time anyways. It's weird seeing how things change in such a short amount of time.
