What is your ethnic composition? Is your family primarily German, Italian, English, etc.?

I myself do not know. This is because no-one on either side of my family seems to have kept track. Furthermore, there is another issue in regards to my heritage. I won't say much other than that there is... a hole on one side of my family tree. Thus, at some point I'm going to order a kit from Ancestry.com and send in a DNA sample. I'm hoping for primarily German and Scottish ancestry. It could be anything, I suppose. I have a very light complexion and dirty blonde hair, and I'm around 5'8" - 5'9".

Update: So my Mother's aunt has actually done a lot of research regarding our family history. My ancestors were German mercenaries working for the British who came to the United States during the American Revolution.

It was a mistake.

I love all the other Mad Max movies, and something felt wrong within the first five minutes. I had heard it was bad, and that's why I hadn't watched it until now. What I didn't know was just how bad it is.

What's with the fucking stupid Tina Turner song in the beginning?
Why the fuck does Max have a Monkey?
Max talks way too much.
There's cursing, which is stupid (none of the other Mad Max movies have cursing).
Where's the violence? Pretty sure no one but Blaster died.
Where's the BDSM gear?
The kids are stupid and I want them to die.

All in all, it's a bad, kiddy film in a series of awesome action movies. It's a shame this is the note Mel Gibson left off on. It doesn't ruin the series like the Prequels ruin SW (IMO), due to the overall disconnected, episodic nature of the Mad Max movies. However, I still had the urge to watch the Road Warrior or Fury Road as brain bleach.

As the time of my graduation draws near, I've given thought to what I want to do in life, and to be honest, I'm actually considering majoring in history and getting training to be a high school history teacher.

History is my main academic interest, and I excel at it. I'm incredibly proficient at writing essays and I relish telling people about history, specifically European and United States history; It's all I really enjoy. Law bores me, and as popular as IT jobs are becoming I don't see myself enjoying that whatsoever. Finally, I'm distinctly mediocre in regards to mathematics.

I guess it seems stupid, wanting to do something like teaching despite still being a senior in high school. However, taking into account my interests and skills, and the simple fact that I enjoy teaching others, I think it's something that might very well be a good fit for me.

Generally seems to be an accelerated process in comparison to the EU. The Battle of Endor has more of an impact than in the EU, and the sequence of events mirrors the fall of governments in history more closely. Essentially, the point that was reached in 20 years in the old EU is now reached in one year. Personally, I like the direction they've taken things. Retaining the better elements of the old EU, like the Empire being torn apart by quarreling Moffs and splitting up into a bunch of splinter factions, but discarding stuff like the resurrection of Palpatine, and the countless superweapons like the Suncrusher.

What are your thoughts?

Interested to hear what you guys think of this, and beauty pageants in general (aside from those involving children of course, I think we all can agree those are horrible). Personally I don't have a problem with the Miss Universe competition, although I am not a fan of the swimsuit competition aspect of it, which I find to be a great deal less classy.

Also, half the contestants look the same.
