Hey PSU, did you know we have a Serious section? Make your 9/11 commiseration thread there!

I do not even know much about Michael Moore. I love him because of this video though.
You should watch Sicko, it's a film he made about Americas health care system. There's also a deleted scene where they filmed in Norway.
Basically everything he's made is golden. And I live in Michigan, so even his state-level documentaries are relevant to me...

Your two scenarios are a little different. If someone asks you, specifically, what they should wear for a party, then they are waiting for your response. On a public forum, the question is usually asked in general, to no specific individual, and so there isn't any expectation for you to reply. Fair enough. A person asks a group of people, to no one in particular, what he or she should wear. One person responds with, "I don't care". Maybe he wouldn't say it precisely like that in that scenario, but you know what I mean. And I know the scenario is still different because it's in real life, but that's sort of my whole point. You'd never say, "Then why'd you respond?" in real life. That's just silly. They obviously just don't care, and responding doesn't mean you do care. Why is it different in forums?

Nobody cares OP See, this statement is partially incorrect just because we have evidence to suggest that at least a handful of users do. If you said, "I don't care", I'd believe you.

The only thing worth crying over is the game's utter lack of quality.

Like I said in OP. Unless you'd have the balls to make fun of 9/11 in the middle of Times Square, then why do it behind a screen? That just screams you're a pussy. You missed the point again though. It's not about having balls. And yeah, there's gonna be people who will do it just because it pisses you off. To which I'd simply advise, stop being so piss-off-able. Learn to not give a shit.

So I guess sharing nude photographs from people who don't want them circulating around is supposed to be edgy now? Wow the culture of this forum is so sour that I'm glad it has so few members. No, at this point, being opinionated is edgy. So... Stop being so edgy. Also, don't take nude pictures of yourself and expect them not to be found in the year 2014, you silly fuck.

-Calling me an idiot. -When you get some type of sick joy from making fun of 9/11
LOLOLOLOL A lot of people find that exhibiting an irreverent attitude towards tragedy actually helps them mentally heal from the experience. Being ironic, treating the issue as a joke, gives them strength. It may sound sick to you, but it's reality. Obviously I doubt very many people were affected or are still affected by something that happened thirteen years ago. So at this point, the irony is a symbol of remembrance. We all know that 9/11 was a tragedy. No one's being serious when they make jokes. That's why it's called a joke. You taking offense to the jokes on any level is missing the point entirely.

>someone makes thread about shit nobody cares about >respond with "i don't care", "nobody cares", etc. >OP responds with "you cared enough to reply"
Apart from how violently stupid that is... I mean, we have two strings of "care" going on.
One string of care is concerned with letting the OP know my thoughts about his or her thread. Then there's another string of care which would contain all the cares I'd have reserved for the subject of the thread itself—Which there exist none of.
The OP is trying to merge these two strings together, when it doesn't make any sense. You could do that with virtually anything. If someone asks me what they should wear for their... whatever, a party or something, my default response is going to be "I don't care". Because I really don't. But do I somehow magically care just because I cared to respond to this person's query?
No. Of course not. So... what the fuck.

That's because it's not funny.
Not even 'cause it's "offensive", either. It's just boring and overdone.

Right. Learn to use forums that pertain to your interests. I'd love to post in Gaming, if I knew I didn't have a weird-ass taste in games and thus wouldn't have much to bring to the table for discussion. So that's why I don't post there.

Data is one of the best characters from any show ever. I've never actually seen anything Star Trek related. I wouldn't know where to begin.

They made it so that images no longer show up in quotes.
It's very annoying now. Please. You posted the one possible niche-ass inconvenience that it introduces. People saw the image; the fact that Elegiac doesn't remember what his own image was is no one's fault but his. My suggestion? He oughta lay off the pot.
