Moderating is subjective soo.... It probably shouldn't be. You should all have this objective standard for rule-breaking that you all agree on. Leave no room for that subjective bullshit that just gets in the way.

Fuck no.
The mods need to be fucking draconian when it comes to shitposting, but they ENCOURAGE IT INSTEAD.

They don't have three words to describe them (no personality).

Pokémon... Street Fighter... Zelda... Retro stuff. Obscure stuff you've probably never heard of, like Jade Cocoon.

I love how none of the mods ever call Verbatim an asshole. Patently false.

I didn't even know they were together. I mean, that explains a lot, I guess. Is Tim Burton finally going to elope with Johnny Depp now?

You're actually taking pictures of yourself and your friends just to prove to some random guy on the internet that you have friends!? LOL
Insecure much? Now he can't use the same generic insult. Problem? Shutting a cunt down = Insecure. Got it.

Because you're too stupid to tell it's the same house? And I would totally go through the effort of finding a random photo on the Internet? I know. Same fucking tree, bro. Get over yourself.

This would be believable if you hadn't lied about having friends.

Four of us just playing Halo. I'm usually pretty bad--in the past, I'd always get last place in slayer matches and I'd be lucky to get more than like, five kills.
This time, I actually had a lot of fun. I got better, apparently. I won a third of the games we played and got my first killing spree (ever). I was only in last place once, but that was when we played on some weird map that required you to commit suicide first, and I didn't realize until halfway into the match.
Then we just fucked about on custom maps that they all made seven years ago. This is us meeting up after us having not seen each other for months, by the way.
But even after all that--even after me getting better and having legitimate fun playing Halo with my friends, I still think that Halo fucking sucks. Because it does.
So... Guess it's NOT just because I suck, huh.

Anime is one of those things that I enjoy hating.
If I found an anime I enjoyed, I'd shoot myself.

Maybe disbelief implies an active disbelief (like that of a militant atheist) and "lack of" implies passivity.

« on: December 23, 2014, 07:29:57 PM »
Who says there's a distinction?
The way I see it, if I'm super technical about it... "disbelief" implies knowledge of the concept's existence. "Lack of belief" implies... lack of knowledge. So like... a baby lacks belief in God. I disbelieve in God.
Or maybe "disbelief" implies a level of reluctance to believe in something. Like, "I averted my eyes in utter disbelief." But I think the same connotation can be granted to "lack of belief" as well.
