They haven't specified when in 2021 the game will launch. It's very possible they could aim to release the game to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Halo: CE's release.

Good or bad sign chaps, place your bets.
Neither, but an expected decision.

Finished The Clone Wars, moving onto Rebels. Enjoying it so far, pretty comfy. I think it better captures the "core" of Star Wars than TCW did.

They're some of my favourite games of all time, particularly KOTOR2.

Although I really fucking hate the centrist idea a lot of Star Wars content has that "Balance = Light AND Dark", at least in KOTOR you can kinda reject that.
I would argue that Star Wars actually propagates against the idea of attaining the balance between light and dark and is about actually picking a side, because as far as I remember everyone in Star Wars that tries to keep balance either fall for the dark side or stay away and have no impact and get forgotten. It gets most apparent in this moment
YouTube

You have a good point, but a lot of Star Wars media misunderstands this and thinks that balance seems to mean an equal amount of light and dark. I don't think this is what KOTOR 2 is doing, but a lot of people have interpreted Kreia's viewpoint as being the absolute truth rather than simply her own twisted idea.

Still finishing off my Master's. Been working on this dissertation since January and will be done within the next 2 weeks finally. No idea where I'll end up job-wise. If anything this degree has left me more uncertain as to where I'll go.

Rewatching the trailers again this morning I'm feeling more positive about it. The gunplay looks really fun and the villain is something new for Halo. The demo is confirmed to come from an earlier build so graphical issues should be fixed by launch.

Really it just looks like a Halo game. I think a lot of people are being melodramatic, just like with 5, 4, Reach, 3, 2...

Still not blown away but it's a shooter. Shooters have been a stagnant genre for about 10 years now. Not much you can do with it that hasn't been done before.

Fine with it being open world but my main concern is that the game will just be hilly forests. It'll need some variety if it wants people to keep playing it.

I read this as "Living in a crazy house" and was thinking "about time".

You mean OG Halo 3 or XB1 MCC? Cause people have been saying hit reg is the same as XB1 MCC which is way worse than OG Halo 3.

Better than the xbox version but still not great.
MCC I suppose, but either way Halo 3's shooting has always been terrible.

Halo 3 plays great on PC but still has the worst shooting of any of the games.
So is the shot registration with the BR still just as bad?
Better than the xbox version but still not great.

finished rewatching all the star wars films so i can safely say i'm right and everyone else is wrong about it
you're saying you're right-wing as a result? This is astonishing evidence that Star Wars is propaganda
it was good until the first film when they started injecting politics into it

Still getting through TCW, not a show but I also started watching Star Wars from the beginning. So far I've finished the prequel trilogy and Solo, doing Rogue One next.

Fairly indifferent on Locke as a character but if he gets killed off straight away then that's simply bad writing, and shows 343i have learned nothing about how to properly address fan criticism.
