How is VOG here compared to the original
Basically the same raid, the only real major change is that you now have to shoot the oracles in the order they appear.

Very fun overall, better than basically every other raid we've had in the past couple years aside from maybe Last Wish.

What's the light leve requirementl, I might hop on this.
I think it's only 1300, don't need to grind to a higher power this time.

I feel like the community memed itself into thinking Riven was some impossible encounter when IMO it's one of if not the best raid boss they've done. Hoping if it ever gets a Master mode the cheese isn't viable there.

So Boris allegedly said "let the bodies pile in their thousands" during talks for the second lockdown.

For any other politician this would be a resigning matter, but it comes at a time when people whose sole personality trait is "alcoholic" will be willing to defend Bozza because they can finally go to the pub again.

To save the airline industry, Rishi Sunak will announce the Fly Out to Help Out scheme in March, encouraging people to fly abroad and paying half the costs of their tickets. Nothing will go wrong.

Boris making an announcement at 8pm, hopefully it's a proper lockdown and not whatever the November one was meant to be.

In some ways it kinda feels like they wanted to make a Johnny Silverhand game with him being a Geralt-type RPG character but had already committed to the custom character route.

Mate you're the one who brought up the sequels twice before anyone else responded. Not my fault you're incapable of any kind of critical thought beyond "stop liking what I don't like".

Back to the actual topic:

Though I think the overall average episode quality was stronger than that of Season 1, I'm disappointed that what started off as a flawed but promising standalone story has, like everything else, been bogged down by cameos out of some obligation to tie everything to a larger narrative. I'm fine with stuff like Bo-Katan and Boba Fett given their ties to the Mandalorians, and even Ahsoka to an extent, but it grew tiresome seeing Mando run into all of these beloved characters almost every episode, and I think this came at the cost of the season's overarching plot. The final cameo was a bit too far for me, especially with the horrible Rogue One CGI. At the very least, the cameos weren't quite as egregious as the Ponda Baba and Darth Vader scenes in that film and the cameo characters actually did fill a role in the plot. I just wish they had been handled better.

Best episode by far was the penultimate one. It felt like everything Rogue One was trying to do but with actual entertainment value, and was one of the few episodes set in a location that wasn't just some brown or grey Mos Eisley-esque town. Worst episode was definitely the second one with the frog lady. The joke with Baby Yoda eating the eggs really wasn't thought out that well.

So yeah, despite my criticisms, overall it's alright. Still wish Mando would go to some more interesting looking planets and I hope they tone down the cameos next season, but a solid 7/10 I guess. The general premise of the show isn't really to my tastes anyway, though I'm sure I won't be seething about it in 3 years' time.

Star Wars fans' assessment of whether a legacy character has been "given the respect they deserve" is based entirely on whether there's a scene of them slashing through enemies with a lightsaber.

Absolutely the most inexcusable part of the game. I am floored by how dumb the AI is.
Annoying thing is the scripting for a lot of the AI has been found in the game files being unused at the moment. Game definitely wasn't ready, we'll probably see a situation like The Witcher where things had to be improved over the course of the next year.

Finished the game, would probably give it a 7.5-8/10 as it is. Really good story, quest design and combat but the skill trees could use a bit of tuning and the AI needs to be fixed.

As funny as it is to see gamers malding over TLOU2, any game whose direction led to extreme crunch conditions should not be getting a "Best Game Direction" award.

Big thinking emoji
I mean it would be deserved given how quick they are to address and implement community feedback. As opposed to Fall Guys which blew its momentum in the first month and Apex which just kinda doesn't exist?

You still need to buy Beyond Light to play the raid.
