What kind of games do you play?
Large variety. Mainly FPS and general shooters, but I also like action, fighting, racing, RPG and RTS. Weeaboo and sports stuff is probably the only no, even though FIFA with friends can be great.

That was my initial reaction too, but some want to give me something more tangible than money.
idk what you like, but maybe a video game / book you've been wanting?

some people who don't like giving money are fine with gift cards, too
Yeah, gift card is probably a good one. Uni killed recreational reading for me, but I might start again soon.

Thanks fams.

Also, older games are just as welcome. I only recently played through Brink and Rage and liked them both.

Trump is an idiot, it says a lot about his voters.
I'm inclined to agree. Even with the mess that is Brexit, I could still see why some people would support it. But Trump? How anyone sane of mind can support him is just beyond me.

Another great book from Ben "White Pride Worldwide" Garrison.
Ben "The Racial Pain Hurricane" Garrison shows us once again how he earned his title.
Ben "throw a rock at a poc" Garrison has laid down all of his work in this one deranged book.
Ben "One Man Auschwitz" Garrison hits another home run!
Ben "put the roma in a coma" strikes again.
Ben "Six Million More" Garrison alternates between paranoid and factually incorrect rants about water fluoridation, chemtrails, socialism and those darn dirty trolls who keep photoshopping his cartoons to look racist.

Three times in the course of a rally in Florida, Trump called out “the corrupt corporate media” and gestured towards his supporters to turn towards the press pen to boo, hiss and even, in one instance, shout “go to hell”.
His "winning temperament" in action. What a pathetic and petty man.
Quote
Cat Alger echoed a famous country music song: “Like Tammy [Wynette], stand by your man.” She supported the Republican nominee because “he tells it like it is, whether you want to hear it or not”.
The utter stupidity and insanity of those supporting Trump both makes me want to laugh and cry. Couldn't even make this up if you wanted to.

They need to raise Competative's experience level requirement from 25 to 50. 25 is too low.
30 is fair imo. That's like 25ish hours? If you haven't figured the game out after that much play time, you're hopeless.
it sucks having a sub 50 lvl on your team, they just havent seen enough of the bullshit this game can throw at you. Especially in Dimond/Plat tier.
Wow, rude. :(

well, one year shouldn't quite call for the death of a statistical trend, but that's still interesting to see confirmed.
Yeah, it's still far below what it was in the 90's and considerably less than parts of the 2000's. I doubt we're going to see a reversal of the trend, as violent crime has been dropping fairly consistently in pretty much the entire developed world, but it's not unlikely the US is seeing a (temporary) spike in violent crime that might persist for a few years.

And you're probably not wrong for the second part. Cultures of both internal and external violence are common among disenfranchised minorities.

I keep hearing about violent crime dropping, but the 5oclock news tells me otherwise..
I'm actually going to have to correct myself on this, but I promise it's not my fault.  Just yesterday, the FBI published its crime report for 2015. For the first time in years, violent crime rose a not unsignificant amount in 2015 compared to the year before. It's still lower than what it was a few years back, but violent crime and murder rates are once again on the rise in the US. And as far as I'm aware, 2016 is shaping up to be even worse.

These instant polls are little more than a survey of which candidate has the most vocal and internet savvy fans. And that's Trump, who has a monumental social media following and reddit-tier fanbase dominating much of the internet. But in the end, while they can easily flood polls like these and skew online results, they only account for a fraction of the votes.
I feel like this can't be emphasized enough.
The biggest poll I've found so far had around 200,000 votes for Trump. That's 0.1% of the people registered to vote. Large internet followings dominate these polls and a few ten thousand supporters of a particular candidate who will just go and vote for the one they support will skew these results beyond recognition. r/TheDonald alone has over 200k followers and averages close to 1.5 million page views a day. Much more useful are small focus groups (a small selection of 'ordinary' voters picked before the debate and then asked about it immediately after) and experts / commentators. And looking at those, it appears pretty well accepted that Clinton won this one. International newspapers are giving it to her and so are all of the Belgian ones (including the conversative outlets). Even Breitbart and Fox News have had to admit that Clinton outdid Trump.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/09/27/hillary-won-first-debate-it-helps-to-be-prepared.html

Trump has the high energy online following, but Clinton appears to have taken this one based on what I've seen and read.

> Mister Trump, you absolutely did this.

I'm legitimately baffled and would almost consider watching all of this.

Those who saw the full debate, how accurate is this?

http://imgur.com/gallery/OmIx66B

I imagine not entirely correct, but I wouldn't be surprised if much is true.
What are candidates like in Europe, are they as much of a joke as what Trump is?
Not at all. I can only speak for my own country, but I really am quite fond of many our politicians. They appear to be a lot more approachable, respectful and honest than what I'm seeing in some other countries like the US. A man like Trump would not even be given the light of day. He'd be chewed up by more respectable politicians and the general public would spit him out instantly. It's a rather different political culture and even though we have our own issues from our, eh, unique state structure and history, politics here rarely involve the kind of hostility, populism, pettiness and personal attacks that you're seeing in the current American elections. Some of our politicians I'm pretty indifferent towards, while others I greatly admire. Our current minister of Justice, for example. I was in one of his classes so got to meet him in person. He is a great speaker and one of the most intelligent, engaged and genuine people I've met. A list of qualifications and accomplishments longer than my arm, and a genuinely caring man with good convictions. You guys could do with some more people like that.

In the summaries I'm going through there's no mention of foreign policy, not a bad thing Americans clearly want a domestic focused President.
I think they were only supposed to focus on three main issues this debate. Foreign policy will come up soon, I'm sure.

The community generally isn't that bad, but fucking hell there's a lot of toxicity and cancer here. So many mad and butthurt people everywhere. From people refusing to play because someone else picked the "wrong" support hero (happened last night in competitive even), to constant flaming and raging on teammates and opponents for whatever petty reason.

Also, it's still a shame how broken the MVP ticket system is. 4 gold medals (eliminations, damage, objective time and objective kills) and 34k damage as Roadhog in competitive. Ticket I get? 57% hook accuracy. Not that it really matters, but it's a disappointing feeling to then see the Lucio get an epic for doing a few K in healing when no one gives a single point to you because all they see is >hook accuracy.

Also something that sparked my interest. The moderator consistently called out Trumps faults (taxes, birther issue, ect). Literally let Hillary off the hook for her multiple huge screw ups.

Like Trump said, "The best person in her campaign is the mainstream media".
keep making up excuses for why your boy lost

Did he lose just because you think he did? Because like I said, the polls say different.

Time and Nj.com are pretty damn liberal. Both trump wins from their readers.
The point is that these online polls typically matter very little. They're not "their readers", like you say. They're random people on the internet, many of which probably aren't even from the US. Anyone can vote, regardless of whether you're a reader or not. When the debate ends, who is going to hop online at 11pm to vote in these polls? Not your typical voter, but only the high energy minorities.

From what I can tell, most news papers and focus groups (including Fox News) seem to give it to Clinton.

Not that it'll matter much in the end though.

tbh I think it's pretty admirable that Trump refuses to disclose his taxes. It's nobody's fucking business, and the tradition of doing so is such a garbage excuse for the humblebrag that is a candidate's tax return.
I'd generally agree, but I think it's reasonably warranted in this case. Trump has made some very dubious claims about how much money he makes and how charitable he is, something that many experts have called him out on. Even more important are his claims about taxes, in which he said (if I remember correctly) that he gladly pays taxes and that he believes it's fair the wealthy contribute to society. There's a lot of reasons to assume that he's blatantly lying about all of this and especially the last part would illustrate further hypocrisy. In light of that, I think it's fair people are expecting him to back up those very bold claims when there's this much doubt surrounding them. It shouldn't be a general obligation for all candidates, but when you go around bragging about how much money you make, how much you give to charity and how you don't mind paying taxes, I don't think there's anything admirable about then coming up with some petty excuse on why you can't prove what you're saying.

Halo 3 was great. Bungie was still good back then, forging stuff with all the glitches was fun and playing 4 man split-screen online was some of the best gaming fun I've ever had.

It had its flaws, but still the best Halo game and one of my all time favorites.
