I don't know if Idaho has much of a gang problem, but it sure looked like a very shady part of town. We didn't hang around for very long.

Yeah, I've been in bad neighborhoods. It's really nerve racking. I just don't ever picture things like this in that state (I don't want to say the state name for privacy reasons). I don't even picture more than like 3 people living there.
Well this was in Idaho, we were on a road trip. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Oh no, we don't live there. We made a trip to Salt Lake and passed through Idaho Falls. A friend of hers recommended we have lunch there. What she didn't tell her is that Idaho Falls is apparently made up out of two parts seperated by the highway. One nicer area with stores and restaurants, and one that could be considered a little "ghetto". Not knowing that, we ended up in the latter first. Don't get me wrong, she was still saying it jokingly. But things did seem a little fishy.
