Where are the bodies? Why is there such catastrophic damage to the building's structure? Why was there only one guard at the door? I smell BS. Seems off for sure, and at this point i'm not as sure if Halsey's history of working with the enemy (H4 SO) has anything to do with John being a 'traitor'

It would be interesting to find out that John was doing this on behalf of Halsey. What could she have told him to convince him to go angsty white kid on a peace conference
Forerunners. Flood. Prometheans.

Take your pick

Well on Archive they found puctures from HuntTheSignal that sugested that ONI may be experimenting with the Flood. Still the link between that, and shooting up a Peace conference in the Outer Colonies is not exactly clear.
I never completed spartan ops, what was Halsey working with the covvies for?

I hope Obsidian are the ones making it.
I doubt it. But one can dream.

I'd love another NewVegas, not so much the local or story. But the setting, the atmosphere and the choice just made NewVegas a better game than Fallout 3. Just imagine what New Vegas could have been with a brand new engine and a current gen console?

Here's hoping Fallout 4 is in some sort of dry desert and not some dull grey city.
I thought it was going to take place in Boston?
Rumours. I'm hoping that we get more Mad Max instead of more Escape from New York. The desert just has more vibe when it comes to post apoc games.

So if it takes place in Boston... eh... not perfect but hey a new Fallout is a new Fallout! :)
i think a desert was a dumb setting for a post apocalyptic game, even though fallout 3 was bland I liked the ruined city more than some dusty desert.
>Dusty desert. Giant monsters, mutants, raiders, various settlements.

>Ruined city. 100s of inaccessible buildings, no atmosphere, not fun.
I agree, but cities are still the best demonstrator of the apocalypse. Metro is a masterclass in the subject

Boston works fine for me, isn't Boston under the control of the Commonwealth? I remember something about them in Rivet City in F3, but I may be mistaken

The two sides look identical. Maybe it's because i'm viewing it on my iPhone, but the video is at 1080p 60fps. I should be able to see any reasonable differences easily
The game is only 30fps, so playing it at 60fps is pointless. Plus the Xbone version is only 1080p where it can handle it.

You can easily see the stutter on the Xbone version too. It looks horrible.
I really couldn't notice the difference, I was viewing it as one image rather than focussing on just the XB1 side.

Also confirmed is the fact that planets are confirmed to be spherical. Flat planet's skies don't look blue.

They look like this.

I don't get how they are calling them huge fighter battles. If there's only 20 per team not everyone is going to be in a starcraft. Unless there's still AI pilots.
Separate mode. That'd be 40 aircraft at a time

583

Thoughts? At least EAids isn't charging for aerial battles a la BF4
As far as I know every Battlefield game besides maybe Hardline has aerial combat.
Battlefield 1942 has fighters and bombers and there's two maps that are fighter based.
Battlefield Vietnam has helicopters.
Battlefield Bad Company has helicopters.
Battlefield Bad Company 2 has helicopters.
Battlefield 3 has helicopters and jets.
Battlefield 4 has helicopters and jets.
For the being charged thing in Battlefield 3 and 4 the jet based playlist is in a DLC.
I know. That's what I meant. I said aerial battles, not aerial 1v1s. There is never any more than 2-3 jets on each side in a normal battle

Lol. Where is the morality in doing the exact same thing he did? The death penalty is merely institutionalised revenge.

"where you engage in huge Starfighter battles over canyons big enough to be truly epic. Then, for those not in the mood for large scale battles, we have created Missions where players can, for example, take on armies of AI or test their piloting skills. All our Missions can be played either alone or cooperatively, making them perfect for some quick Star Wars action when you have a friend over."

http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront/news/dear-galaxy

I feel moderately happier about the game now, I actually hated space battles anyways so the news that there is still a fighter-based mode that's actually got an interesting map is great. Plus it sounds like they have tried to shape their own version of instant action; whatever, it's got split-screen so that's brilliant for me.

Thoughts? At least EAids isn't charging for aerial battles a la BF4

I actually enjoyed that game quite a bit, almost as good as the newest Ghost Recon

Mine's next year, it'll probably be shit. They usually have it at a place called Old Thorns-a posh manor hotel. It would seem that more people (including teachers) are more interested in the after-party.

I know graphics aren't the be all and end all, but what have they been saying regarding them?
Noticeable/not noticeable/still looks good etc
Or nothing at all? >.>

Preorder cancelled if there aren't at least 7 gorillion pixels on screen at once though.
The graphics are still absolutely gorgeous, best-in-class without a doubt. And now there is the news that it has Dynamic upscaling to 1080p on the Xbox One (the version I pre-ordered for) as well. CDPR really are trying.
Well this sounds promising, I think gaming in general could do with a AAA game that comes out with what a AAA standard used to be like. Unfinished, ugly, buggy clusterfucks have ruined that title to the point of it almost being a slur <.<
Ikr, it's got terribly bad at this point. Other than my usual Fifa purchase i'm just completely staying away from Ubisoft, EA and Activision as much as possible. I'd much rather support decent devs like CDPR, Avalanche, Eidos, etc...

593
If it's as good as AC2 was, then perhaps I may reconsider my stance on AC.

Why would you be smug about pre-ordering?
Pre-orders are like bets, usually you get screwed over but it's satisfying when you get it right.

I know,
>critics

But that's consistently brilliant scoring, and it's exactly as we had all hoped it would be. If they are right then my smugness levels will have reached new heights what with pre-ordering it almost a month pre-release for pre-loading.

I'm not going out, I live in a flat ffs
are you poor?
your webbed feet are showing btw
Yes.

But it's a nice area and a nice flat, less than 10 years old
Do you also share a single bedroom with your parents?
No. But I do share a room with my brother.

However, unlike the local breed of Portsmouth/London hybrid chavs I don't practice incest.
