If they are a good friend they should understand, if they get all bitchy you are probably better off without them

People that drive pickup trucks in this country outside of rural areas like the Highlands, etc... are people to laugh at.

The Flood / Re: My dream may not have been crushed.« on: October 26, 2015, 05:45:03 PM »Well, Canada is a big place after all. Tbh, each 'country' of the British Isles is almost identical-you could walk through every part in a line and you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.I'll be honest, I have a very low opinion of 90% of humanity, most Brits are total idiots-i've had people in my class ask if England was in London (scary, I know). I don't expect most people in this country to get all of the UK/Britain/GB/etc... stuff right, nevermind anyone from elsewhere. I guess I just tend to expect more from everyone on this site, I don't regard any of you as part of that 90%, you know? 130

I guess I just tend to expect more from everyone on this site, I don't regard any of you as part of that 90%, you know?To be fair, sovereignty within the UK is pretty convoluted and unclear topic. I know the UK pretty well and still get it confused every so often. Colloquial definitions, political definition, historical definition all tend to differ here. For example, both Wales and England technically most definitely are actual countries with its own government, culture and official languages. Same goes for Great Britain, which despites just being an island is very often used as a synonym for the UK to the point that it even has an actual internationally recognized country code (GB/GBR).At least I know they are within the same country. It's not as if I expected you to name the home counties or anything is it?That question gave me cancer. Wales and England aren't even countries per se, just parts of the United Kingdom. Britain isn't a country either, it's the large island that Scotland, Wales and England comprise. The UK also includes Northern Ireland and the Channel islands, as well as the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight, plus all of the Scottish islands. 131

Depends; as long as they covered their tracks initially and the motive was good enough i'd help them dispose of the body in the best way available. Of course if I thought i'd be caught or implicated in any way i'd just turn them in and move on.

Paying £40 for 24 games is a great deal however you look at it. Even if you ignore the necessity of Gold for online gaming and whatnot; it's still worth it.

Working off of great grandparents i'm 5/8 Irish, 2/8 'English' and 1/8 Italian. But apparently the Italian blood contained an awful lot of dominant genes, aesthetically at least. The funny thing is that the Italian side originated from France partially anyways, that side traces back to French aristocrats that fled to Pescara during the French Revolution.

I appreciate all forms of alcohol, you can't really compare a glass of Port to a Magners, or Whisky to a dark Belgian beer-they are different, and they should be consumed and regarded differently as a result.

MGS5 is the apex of the current open-world format for non-fantasy/sci-fi rpgs like The Witcher and Fallout, if the next Far Cry honed in on the theme of survival and quadrupled down on grittiness and those (usually drug-induced) surreal moments that'd help
