In the beginning it may give users a sense of relaxation, but that wears off quickly to the point where you are only smoking to prevent withdrawal symptoms. Using an addictive stimulant is just going to lead to a state of dependency where the only way to de-stress is to smoke. Besides, there are much healthier ways of relaxing and releasing stress.

For the most part I'm with Turkey.
Though I don't like the part of the bill that further labels vapes as tobacco products. Not that I enjoy being around cloud heads, but I think the feds and various state governments are going on with plans of regulating it all wronglike.

OT: I don't smoke (other than the occasional cigar), but I really have no problem with them raising it. Maybe cause I'm over 21 and don't really care, idk. Smoking age has always been 19 here in jersey but that never stopped anyone. So I doubt it will in Cali.

Still, this is a good thing. I can't think of any reason why people smoke them in the first place, not like there's any health benefits or mind-altering enjoyment coming out of them.

Medicinal usage would be to wean addicts off post-regulation, like in a methadone clinic. I wouldn't even go so far as to ban tobacco, but cigarettes ought to go.

Yet common people obviously can't be bothered to find/deal with healthier ways of releasing stress.
