Glad I checked my email when I did. Probably one of the first to join, too.

The time has come! Kind of.

https://septagon.net/

Alpha is live! If you want an invite, just post here and I'll send one to the email you have on file. Otherwise, the rollout will be pretty random.

You can also send a request for an invite to septagon.app@gmail.com

This is an alpha test. The site is missing critical features but it's at a state where I'd like to start getting feedback and also collecting bug reports on the features that are in place.

Major features missing: polls, PMs, groups, nameplates, quests, and probably a few other things.
All of these will be built eventually. They just aren't ready yet.

Report bugs here or in the help forum there. I'll be updating information and making more clarifying answers to questions over there soonish (well... as soon as it's live). Your post data will (well...should...) persist after the alpha.

Please try to hack the site :). I believe all the routes are solid but as you know, shit happens. I'd rather know now.

Bans are working.

At this point... I just need to make user profile pages (they will be suuuuper basic at launch and just something so the page doesn't 404) and setup some sort of homepage and we should be good to launch.

Of those I saw in theatres:
Madame Web - 3/10
Furiosa - 8/10
Deadpool & Wolverine - 6/10
Megalopolis - ?$%&?ยฃ/10

Not a 2024 film but I saw The Phantom Menace re-release in theatres and it was a very fun experience - IMO the strongest of the prequels.

Bro why did you go see Madam Web in theaters
idk banter lol

I forgot I saw some re-released movies in theaters as well.

Alien 45th Anniversary: This was actually only the second or third time Iโ€™d ever seen this film. With Romulus coming out as well, I was rewatching some of the other movies in the franchise this year, and Iโ€™ve really come to appreciate the OG as the masterpiece that it is. I think itโ€™s very easily the best in the franchise, including the James Cameron one. 10/10

Spider-Man 2: GOAT Spider-Man movie. Probably the best superhero movie from my childhood. You already know this. 8/10

The Phantom Menace 25th Anniversary: Not trying to ruffle any feathers with this one. This was honestly my favorite movie as a lad, and I went in purely for the nostalgia. It had been a few years since Iโ€™d seen it, and from scene 1 I remember thinking โ€œoh yeah, this is a bad movieโ€. Thereโ€™s frankly a lot you can criticize, but I think the thing that sticks out to me the most is how lifeless all the performances are.  It was really bizarre to make almost all of the characters so monotone in every scene, and then Jar Jar is such an over-the-top contrast that it becomes pretty grating. 3/10

Im down for Gulf of America tbh

Honestly, even 'Gulf of THE AmericaS' would probably appease the neocolonial morons and deconstruct any geopolitical interpretations at the same time.

A sorta IONA type deal
