Im probably the only one but the music never stood out to me in Dark Souls. I was too goddamn focused on the game to notice it .-.
Majulas theme is the only one i can remember
Sinh the Slumbering Dragon probably has the best theme in the series

I hated the bloody fight though
What was wrong with it? It didn't seem too bad to me. Was about as hard as Kalameet.
Well, because it is Kalameet.
Plus poisonous gas.
Eh it was nice to fight a dragon again that wasn't one-shot BS or underwhelming. Plus it has an awesome metal cover.

I'd be more surprised if really good novels came out to be honest.
Tarkin was pretty good. The one with Kanan and Hera was bad, but nowhere near as bad as Aftermath. I honestly couldn't continue after three pages.
I've only read Tarkin and Dark Disciple. Both good.

It didn't ruin it, the old ones are still great. Just sucks to see it end this way. So much hype and buildup, then splat.
well at least you've learned not to think a game will be perfect based on its predecessors.

Because they tried making it different to the first one (which isn't a bad thing) but fucked it up in some places which resulted in a bit of a mixed bag of quality. The game itself isn't bad but there are some annoying aspects of it which dampen the experience a bit.
