I hate the idea of people forcefully entering my game without my permission with the intent to kill me. So I play Dark Souls offline :)

Are you playing without any hints or walkthrough tips?
Preferably. I might have a few questions about some things, but yeah, as usual, I'd like this to be as blind as possible.

Ah right. Just saiyan, because there's some weird or vague things in there that are obscure or obtuse as hell that can leave you stumped, which you will probably chalk down to bad game design or something.

Guy used to pretend to be a car.

Smart kid, but always turned up to lessons  brumming and screeching, and "put the handbrake on" when he sat down.

There was a kid on Malcolm in the Middle who did that

In a lot of in depth open world games, all the shit around you CAN be daunting, because you don't know exactly where to start, or how much accomplishment you're getting from it in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, I know that feeling entirely. I zoomed out in TW3 map and saw all those question marks and said to myself "this is gonna be a grind isn't it?"

I didn't even look at the map. I rode my horse to some fat spanish guy in a tower then gave up because I had no clue
That's just the smallest area of TW3 too

Game's huge

Thankfully it's not grindy, and the quests are usually pretty unique, more than fetch quests and usually have neat little stories to them

I might give it another shot en

Most people like what their selected music says about them.

I like Take That, what does that say about me

That's exactly how I felt when first playing Fallout 3 (the first first time--so, a couple years ago), and I was taunted for it.

I was amazed by the open-ness and wandered far and wide into the city and got killed by super mutants constantly, then complained and stopped playing.

I came back to it a little while later and actually took the time to level up and get good weapons and stuff and enjoyed it more.

I dunno, like, it can really take me a good long while to really get into an open world game sometimes. You're put into this big ass world and there's a lot to do or explore and I just get a bit bummed out by it. Usually if I push on I really start to enjoy it (like Fallout and Oblivion) but those first few hours are just meh. I guess it's just getting used to the game world. I tried the Witcher 3 for like an hour and didn't really enjoy it, everyone says it's amazing so I guess I'll just have to see if I can really get into it.

Fallout 4's kinda lost me a bit too, I start wandering around and just get bored.

The Flood / The autistic guy in my class is hilarious
« on: January 12, 2016, 07:33:13 PM »
In my uni course, there's some autistic guy who's like 29 and he has this woman helping him out, she's nice enough.

So today he was talking really loudly about the new Star Wars film, spoilers all around. I've already seen it and so have most people, probably, but me being the upstanding citizen that I am, tell him that not everybody may have seen it and he should keep it down.

He's like "Oh shit, sorry."
She says "My mistake."

Then he responds with "Just like your third marriage"

I don't know how she felt about that, but he just carried on.
"Yeah, you'll never go back there, you were brainwashed."

Then he goes on about how he might take her to see it again as a 'special treat'

So yeah. Fun times. Have you any funny or cringy stories with autists at your school?

Those three white things which are sticking out, are they teeth or bones?
