The Flood / Re: I'm at work ^.^
« on: January 22, 2016, 09:54:10 AM »
My friend is having a party tonight and I'm going because I don't hang out with him much

But other people from uni are gonna be there who I don't really like, and everyone is gonna be drinking except me so I have no foookin clue how this is gonna end up.

You should go, and if they're there and start acting like a fool ignore them, or start video taping their idiocy, upload to youtube, and when they pass out draw a dick on their faces.
Are you the DD, or do you just not like to drink?

It's only down the road so no driving needed really. I don't like drinking anymore, I'd rather make a cuppa or some orange squash. We all used to go out drinking loads so I used to be one of them but now it's just like nah I'd rather sleep

Oh I feel ya. I rarely drink... but when I do it's usually only 2-3 drinks, and sometimes it's only one. I don't really like drinking either. I'd much rather be able to drive anywhere in an event of an emergency.

It can taste nice and I guess it can be a little bit fun to be a tiny bit tipsy but after that there's just no positives to getting lashed and feeling like shite the next day lol

Though it is fun waking up feeling fresh when everyone around you is crawling around like zombies

Septagon / Something wrong with my notifications
« on: January 22, 2016, 09:48:17 AM »
Sometimes I'll get a notification that somebody has replied to me in a thread, but I click on it and it shows an old reply that I've already seen.

It then turns out that it's actually a different person in another thread that has replied to me, but for some reason that wasn't the one that showed up as the notification. Is there a way to fix this?

Eh it's not as scary as my skool's art building basement. Or the bottom floor at night.

Pics?

and the wabbits

and the alfalfa

and the

They make you read that too in bongland?

yeah

we also had to do fucking romeo and juliet

of mice and men was actually pretty good but holy fuck shakespeare is a fucking drag

Yeah I had to read Hamlet, and I didn't really understand what the hell happened in that story until we did the play... even then I was more focused on making sure the lighting was perfect, so I think I missed something still. Of Mice and Men was probably my favorite force read since I can remember most of that book.

Thankfully, we didn't have to do it as a play. Just read it.

That said, reading old english is the worst thing in the world.

Oh yeah no it was just a coincidence. I was in technical theater (our school had a college level theater program).

Ah, we have to do it as part of GCSE English.

What is GCSE?

Final year school exam stuff. Basically have to do exams in all your subjects.

As someone already mentioned, Kindling your Estus is very helpful. I didn't even know it was a thing on my first ever playthrough. I'd reccommend saving your humanity for kindling, and not using them to heal.

I have a spooky pic to share too. I've posted this before on that other site and here on Sep7 too I think. This was around 4 years ago when my sister took this picture of her car in the driveway. As you can see, there's some sort of figure to the top of the tail light.

I've been coming back to look at this pic every once in a while and can never find out what it is. Could be some sort of reflection or something.
Spoiler

Holy fucking shit that's scary.
Yeah man, I don't know what that thing is. Fortunately for us we've never seen anything like that in our driveway/yard since she took this picture.

I'm really into paranormal stuff and I love looking at ghost photos, and one of the things I've picked up is that if you want to see something spooky in a photo, your brain will automatically make you think it is. It could just be a distorted light or something, but since it looks quite spooky we just automatically think GHOST

That's Kevin, he presented Blues Clues in the UK. I'd never even heard of Steve until 2 years ago.

It's that guy from Robot Wars and Red Dwarf, the Blues Clues dude. Even if you're from America you should LITERALLY already know this.

I just killed the first Wild Hunt guy in the cave with Keira, was pretty hard. I kept stunning him with Axll, running up and hitting him with a heavy attack then retreat and repeat.

I don't believe people when they say they think reading is boring. You just haven't found something you like personally yet.

The only fictional book I've ever really enjoyed was Moby Dick. But even then, I had to force myself to do that. I never felt compelled to go back to the book.

I've probably read more than you, in all honesty. My library consists of more than just Star Wars and Halo books...
Read more than me? 2015 I read 17 books. I keep track.

Woman's Weekly doesn't count, Roman
Lol. But here's the list anyways, you guys might find something you like in there.

The Martian -

Angles of Attack -

Memory Man -

Halo: Hunters in the Dark -

How to Catch a Russian Spy-

Rasputin's Shadow -

The Billion Dollar Spy -

One Minute to Midnight-

Mr. Mercedes -

Finder's Keepers

Halo: Last Light-

The Guilty-

2001 A Space Odyssey-

2010 Odyssey Two-

December 25, 1991: The Last Day of the Soviet Union -

Rendezvous with Rama -

The Lost Fleet Book #1: Dauntless

You seem to enjoy your sci fi.

I spent the year reading Bernard Cornwell and some Game of Thrones again

Good stuff

Um. Quest name?

It was called Wild at Heart, took me like 5 attempts but I spammed AXII on it and killed it.

The quest I'm on now is The Nilfgaardian Connection

I miss how small he was, he would hide under my bed and attack my feet through the sheets. Now he just wants to roll over on my lap when I'm in a raid....
