No meh tier?
I mean, it would probably be a thirty-way tie, 'cause I'm not usually like, "Yeah, this is the most 'meh' Pokémon design I've ever seen," but I guess I can give it a shot.

Golbat - Just looks really dumb with that big gaping mouth of his. Thank Arceus we got Crobat.
Weezing - Testicular Cancer: The Pokémon. Easily my least favorite Gen I 'mon.
Seaking - Memes aside, I just hate how this guy started the trend of having a worthless fish Pokémon in every gen.
Mr. Mime - Creepy. Unpleasant. Gross. Ew.
Jynx - Creepy. Unpleasant. Gross. Ew.
ALL BABY POKÉMON - Annoying, worthless, and serve only to make the Pokédex an utter chore to complete.
Girafarig - Generic as fuck. Why doesn't it evolve, or do anything special at all?
Stantler - See above.
Porygon2 - Porygon got shafted with both of his evolutions. He just looks dumber and dumber. :/
Mightyena - The most competitively worthless Pokémon of all time, and for no good reason at all.

All right, I'm getting bored. See, that's why I stopped myself earlier. lol

Oh I could go on all day about Pokemon that are actually useless, that's why I said design-wise.

Meh tier is just for Pokemon that you don't really see the point of, which your description of Girafarig seems to fit. I don't really have anything against Girafarig, it's design is pretty interesting I think. At least it's not just a generic long necked giraffe.

Favorite: Porygon

Just the idea of a virtual, man-made Pokémon always sounded really cool to me. But the thing is--all Pokémon are virtual and man-made (in the real world), making Porygon the first "meta" Pokémon. He's like a cartoon within a cartoon. As a kid, I always liked that. He also has cool attacks, and his design, while silly-looking, does look like it was made with cheap 3D rendering software (like what was available at the time).

Least favorite:

There's many, but I think Klefki tops it all off. It's as if Game Freak is trying to troll people who hate these stupid Pokémon that are designed after inanimate fucking objects. IT'S SO STUPID

REALLY

IT'S SO STUPID
Steel/Fairy types are just hell
Steel/Fairy types that look fucking stupid are even worse

I really don't mind the inanimate object Pokemon. The way I see it, in-universe they probably adapted over time to look like objects or something

Meh

I love the pokemon, the concept and the movie but
the hand-feather-wings just look daft.

Really? I always loved the big hand wings, I always thought they looked cool...

Lugia's probably in my top 5 legendary designs next to Deoxys, Rayquaza, Suicune and Groudon

I listened to the original, almost went to see a musical of it once but other things came up at the time. Haven't seen it being performed anywhere since.

Did you know there was also an RTS game?

I've only seen the DVD of it, that was good enough for me. I wouldn't say no if someone gave me tickets though.

Ehh I don't like RTS games

It's an ice cream

Yeah it's an ice cream but it's design doesn't actively piss me off or anything.
It pisses me off because it's just so lazy, like they have so many good ideas, but they just got lazy and thought about what they had for desert. It pisses me the fuck off they couldn't even be bothered.

I don't mind it that much. I'm not a fan of it's final evolution, though. It's basically two of them stuck together...

Meh tier being a Pokemon that is just kind of there, you don't like it but you don't really have much of a reason to hate it either.

Favorite
Blaziken

Blaziken is just so cool looking, with good stats too. He's been my favorite ever since I first evolved my Combusken in Sapphire. The cockfighting design really works, and Fire/Fighting was a really good combo until it got run into the ground. Sky Uppercut is still the coolest move.

Meh Tier
Lillipup

It's literally just a dog. There's nothing special about it. It's basically a yorkshire terrier. It doesn't piss me off or anything, but it's just a dog. What's the point?

Least Favorite
Vullaby

It's fucking ugly and disgusting looking. That's all really. It's egg just reminds me of a diaper so it's probably full of shit too. It looks gross.

Anyone seen/listened to the musical of War of the Worlds? It's fucking great, the music is really good. They even bring in big models of the martians on stage. Way better than the Cruise movie too.

I'm not sure what I think about the new facial designs. It fits better with Part 4, yeah, but there's just something off about the animation. Especially Josuke tbh.
He just looks so...

Baby face
More like Samurai Flamenco-tier budget, where everything looks like shit except for a few still shots.
Lets hope its not like the end of part 3 then, with all those BEAUTY dio shots
Expect all of the stands to be rendered in shitty 3D

Tbh I don't mind a little bit of 3D CG sprinkled in here and there, it worked pretty well in the recent DBZ movies imo.

Why the fuck do people like this shit?

The Stands can be really creative and interesting, the art is well drawn and the characters are funny, Also the fights are great.

So is the music.

they don't seem as ridiculously swole as parts 1, 2 and 3 <_<

none <_<

I've watched parts 1 and 2 and I'm watching part 3 at the moment.

I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally hate e-reading, and buying all of the yotsubas kinda cleaned me out a bit <_<
So it's kinda safe to assume that anything that isn't going to be anime'd up I won't be encountering for a while. At least until I can get enough money to spambuy the collection at once.

Do you know how many volumes/books it is so far, just as a rough guess?

Quuuuuuuuuite a lot. I'm not even sure how volumes/chapters work. Pretty sure each part is longer than the last, though.
eep

well let me check amazon

God damn that's gonna bite like a motherfucker if I ever buy the whole collection book by book

They are releasing them in nice book format now, you've probably seen those around. I'm hoping they do it all the way because I want part 4. They're about £11 a book

ngl I know nothing about coding or programming, I kinda started this off as a fun little design project >.>
I'm considering working on this this weekend (at least getting the database together so that you can display all the cards dynamically). In the mean time, I need to pick your brain on the phases in a match. YuGiOh has Main phase 1, battle, main phase 2, etc.

The card effects will be controlled by their own function, but I need to know a definite phase/turn rotation order.

You have 6 cards in your hand, and each turn you may draw a new card if you don't have 6. If you already have 6, draw a card.

At the start of the game, each player can place a Member card  followed by an Incident (if you want). During the first turn, you may not attack each other. This gives you both the chance to get something on the field. On your next turn you may start fighting.

You can only play one Member card and Incident per turn, unless there is an effect that specifies otherwise. If you don't wish to play anything then skip your turn and let your opponent go instead. If they choose to skip their turn too, then you must play something.

Once you've played your Member card, you may choose to either use it, or guard until the next turn. Card effects activate straight away when they are played.

After this you may play an Incident. When you've done that, your turn ends. There are some cards that you may activate during your opponent's turn, too.

So it's basically

TURN 1
-Both players draw 6 cards from the top of their decks-
Player 1 - Activate a Member card and Incident card (if you wish)
-End turn-
Player 2- Same as above
-End turn-
(Neither player may use their cards on the first turn, only bring them into play)

TURN 2
(You may now use the cards you already have in play, in addition to any card from now on)
Player 1- Draw a card from deck if you don't have 6 cards. Play a Member and or Incident. You may attack your opponent's Member cards. If you choose to use your Cards, end your turn when you are done.
-End turn-

Player 2- Same as above, attack any thread cards on your opponent's side.

-Draw
-Play card(s)
-Attack opponent
-End turn

So it essentialy just boils down to draw phase main pase and end phase

So during the Battle phase during each Battle are there going to be sub phases like the Battle step and Damage calculation step, and is it going to be like Magic The Gathering where all cards attack at once or like Yugioh where each card attacks one at a time

You can attack as soon as you play the card, so I guess the battle step is instant. I guess it functions more like a JRPG  because you have to deplete your opponent's RT during your turn, then they try and do the same to you during theirs.
