Meh tier is something you don't actively hate, you just don't really see the point of it. Whether it's because it has no defining features, your forgot about it or it's just really really bland. Take your pick.

I must admit, I'm actually really enjoying the Pokestars Studio minigame. I usually avoid the Contests and their equivalent but this is actually pretty fun. It's like a puzzle, trying to figure out how best to do it.

First, ensure you have both completed the elite four and have access to the friend safari. Then, you both need to have your in-game Internet turned on. After this has happened the 3rd blank slot in the pokemon safari card will be available. You can now catch what is normally their most scarce pokemon.

The game hinted that I should get a Magnemite to tackle the Poison gym.
I could just wait for Riolu to evolve into Lucario, but it's nighttime so I can't do that unless I fiddle with the 3DS clock

I've only played it once so I thought it would be good to refresh my memory of it.
Few things though, they seem to really be pushing towards making the game easier, at least near the beginning. People just throw items at you left and right.
Also I forgot that names in Gen 5 are lower case instead of ALL CAPS so half my team has ALL CAP NAMES until I get to the name rater, unfortunately.
For this run I decided to ditch my starter until I get something decent. I'm 6 hours in and I'm at Virbank, about to fight the 2nd gym (Poison type).
My current team is:
KAKAROT (Riolu) -Lvl 19
Copycat
Quick Attack
Force Palm
Counter
Riolu is gonna be my main fighter for this playthrough I think. Lucario's a beast.
RAIJIN (Mareep)- Lvl 12
Tackle
Cotton Spore
Thunder Wave
Thunder Shock
Ampharos is one of the better Electric types you can get. Thunder Wave is really good for support too so I'll be keeping that.
CARREG (Oshawatt)- Lvl 13
Tackle
Tail Whip
Water Gun
Water Sport
I don't really like any of the starters so I doubt I'll be holding onto this.
HWYADEN (Psyduck) - Lvl 11
Water Sport
Scrath
Disable
Water Gun
Golduck is a pretty decent Water type, and Confusion and Disable will come in handy. I might replace Oshawatt with him.
Sam Tan (Growlithe) -Lvl 11
Roar
Ember
Leer
Odor Sleuth
It was a choice between this and Magby for the Fire type, and I prefer Growlithe visually so there you go.
So yeah, how's this for a team so far?
