'There is much evidence within the Star Wars universe itself to support my pronunciation given that other walkers like Return of the Jedi’s AT-ST and the prequels’ AT-TE are pronounced by their letters. Even everyone’s most beloved droid, R2D2, is pronounced by the letters that comprise its name, whereas there is little, if no, precedent for the pronunciation of AT-AT phonetically.
So who’s correct, the Star Wars Yoga master (unlikely), or me (most definitely)?
An email blast to Lucasfilm’s public relations department provided the definitive verdict. The official pronunciation for AT-AT is the phonetic one, as in it rhymes with “hat hat.”
Alas, the force was not with me.'

I've always said At Ats. I guess because my parents and everyone around me called them At Ats, it just feels more natural to me.
Pretty sure the Imperial announcer in Battlefront 2 called it an At At, so yeah.

Me and my friend were playing on Golmud Railway and for the entire match we were in the little village around A and B. We fucking kicked ass there, barely died at all. It was like some Hot Fuzz level shit. He left towards the end and it was just me, so I took to totally RUINING the sniper club's day by killing them over and over and over and over again with the SUAV. Good times.

Before the Destiny beta was even announced to be a thing, I made a thread in the Destiny forums saying "Hey guys, my Destiny beta isn't working" pretending like me and other people playing the beta was a common occurrence. Other people followed suit and we told all the new comers who were asking about it that they had to have an account before the 2013 site update and if they wanted one now to PM DeeJ. Needless to say, DeeJ wasn't very happy.

Lol you should have edited Eddj's quote out
Shit I wasn't looking while I typed that but I'll leave it

Just as excited for this as episode VIII. Can't wait to return to the OT era. Cool Stormtrooper too.
Isn't Rogue One set before ANH? Why does it look like a First Order Stormtrooper design?

As in, did you do anything that left a lasting impression that people talked about for a while, created a meme, whatever.
I was the one who started Remember Elk. What started as a light distraction from all the 9/11 posts became a piece of history dedicated to the drunk elk. Never forget.

I wonder if people still continue my legacy.

It's incredible. I mean yeah, it's just a picture of the planet surface but still. The fact that we actually have pictures of another planet is just fantastic.

Also I have nothing against Jim Broadbent but I really dislike his performance as Horace Slughorn. In the books I imagined him as some slimy guy but in the films he comes across as a bumbling oaf

they changed directors in like the third movie i think. he decided to take the series' aesthetic in a different direction. thats why they stopped wearing robes so much and started wearing normal clothes too.
Fifth movie, actually. David Yates took over for the last four films.
Third movie was directed by Alfonso Cuarón, who recently made Gravity.
ah. i do know that alfonso is responsible for the wardrobe change but i guess yates is responsible for dimming down the overall atmosphere.
I liked Azkaban's style, it's my favorite Potter movie. The colors of that film fit the feel because the Dementors were creepy as fuck and there were werewolves and shit. OotP and HBP have uh... teen romance and mean teachers?

I don't think I ever realized how un-interesting this film is.
Yeah. There's a lot of bullshit OTP-pandering, but the whole point of the story is that Snape kills Dumbledore. Nothing else happens.
I like it just for Alan Rickman and Tom Felton's performances. They're pretty great.
But what about the real important scene where the Burrow gets attacked, or Ginny and Harry's so awkward-it's not even cute romance... Yeah I got nothing. They could have done so much more with the Voldemort backstory, I think. But nooo, teen drama.

Half-Blood Prince was the worst movie, so that probably doesn't help.
Personally, the progressing darkness was one of my favorite things about the films. Harry's growing up, so all the color in his world is going away, too.
I don't think I ever realized how un-interesting this film is.

I'm watching Half Blood Prince right now. Why are the colours so dull and grey? It's so uninteresting to look at. I get that it's getting darker due to the story and all that, but the way it looks visually is just... boring.

Silent Hill 2 is what a horror game should be. Today's horror games confuse 'scary' with 'surprising'. Take the animatronics in FNAF, or the necromorphs in Dead Space. Sure, they're frightening when you first see them, but after that they're standard fare.
Pyramid Head making an appearance is frightening every fucking time.
The sound design is phenomenal too. Hearing random groans and mechanical whirrs is unsettling as fuck when its used sparingly.

I don't get it. Are they actually part of Faze or are they just wannabe losers?
I assumed they were like the higher ups in Faze or something. 'Faze up'
