How does repaying your loans work in the US? Over here you only a pay a little bit each year if you earn more than about £22k and if you haven't done it in 30 years it gets wiped and you don't need to worry about it.

I feel kind of lucky in a sense that for the field I'm in, employeers couldn't care less about the degree and care more about my work and portfolio. People always say how you shouldn't go to uni for games stuff but I feel like it's been incredibly worth it for me as there's no way I'd have ever been able to use Zbrush, Substance or Maya for doing work without it.

Does it work on a three monitor setup?
Is it actively animated?

That sounds super cool.

For my PC I use this neat little program called DesktopEarth. You can set a view of Earth and mess with the angle and stuff then have a more or less realtime updated view of Earth, which is pretty neat if you watch evening sweep over your country.

It works on my dual monitor, I have one view as the Earth and one as the moon but ypu can have two views of Earth.

Also you can set it up to update at intervals you want. I have it every five minutes update but you can set it up to update every second.

are they ever going to make the update not the size of the whole game?
For the new update they had to rework a lot of core game functions so having to reinstall it from scratch is fairly reasonable this time around, especially as they brought in the optional installs for different games feature so you only have to install campaign and mp components you want.

But yeah, I really hope they don't pull a Halo 5 with this shit.

I'd say so. Out of all the free alternatives I've ever tried I've never used anything that was quite on the same level in every aspect as Photoshop.

Also the cockpits have no field of view like the D77-TC models and somehow it manages to have worse armament than the TC's functional and effective chin-mounted autocannon and rocket pods.

Halo 4's pelican is awful

yo just want to let you know there's no report button, no mute button, no block button in real life. I want to see your glance as I smash your skull into the fucking concrete, and I strangle the life out of you, pushing my thumbs into their eye sockets until you cry blood lol. well, not before forcing you to watch their beloved ones die in front of you.
Halo 4's pelican has always looked like a bulky unwieldly unaerodynamic piece of shit that for some reason mounts a tank cannon on the top and two machine gun turrets on the sideyou just kind of have to balance yourself on while being blasted by some nice jetwash from the engines

How anyone can like that is beyond me

Hidden Experia
I watched that blowhard's video about how the Bungie artstyle was better and he couldn't stop saying "iconic" and used retarded terms like "stealthy-deadly" to describe the old Elite design. 343's artstyle is dog shit but he talked about stupid vague shit and not why people dislike what Halo looks like now.

I do not disagree with any of this. Granted some of 343is art is good. Chief's 4-5 armor is probably my favorite at this point, same with the Pelican. Requiem was beautiful and Halo Wars 2 looked gorgeous as long as they were not duct taping a million guns to pelicans or grafting fucking Wal-E's corpse onto sniper marines.

Just about everything else though is pretty meh at best and at it's worse it's the fucking Seeker Helmet.
Halo 4's pelican is awful and Halo Wars 2 used new forerunner architecture where it shouldn't have

After BF4 (before LA fixed it it was shit),BF1 and the Battlefront games I'm more or less done with anything DICE makes. Their games have been getting progressively worse for years now, so I don't really have any interest in this one.

Titanfall 2's only paid dlc was weapon skins (not RNG, just buy what one you want), but everything else (maps, weapons, titans etc) were free. I only really mention it because in a Q&A one of the producers said the skins didn't make money and the ones they did in the last few updates were just ones the artists wanted to make.

My favourite thing about Halo Wars 2 is if there's an update there's a chance you might have to reinstall the entire game. It's a lot of fun, more fun than the actual game.
The best part is when they release a 2mb update that the devs didn't know about and no one seems to know why it exists or released or what it does and it causes you to reinstall the entire thing.

Glad to see it fits with the village's rustic aesthetic.

If you get hit by the Needler in real life, would you die before getting super combined or after?
Even getting hit by one is a death sentence. There's a bit in TFOR where a marine gets hit by one and the needle explodes into millions of pieces of microshrapnel that cut through his body and leave him with mass internal bleeding. Supercombine is just overkill.

Which reminds me; Remember the part in Ghosts of Onyx where one of the Gammas got supercombined and was able to keep fighting with his chest blown open off of sheer adrenaline.
i haven't read onyx for years

so sort-of-but-not-really
