Looks better irl I literally get compliments everywhere I go when they're freshly done. My barber uses a straight edge to sharpen the top and bottom so they're not too thin
Id suggest going into a nail salon and asking for eyebrow wax. They usually do them there costs like $5-8. It HURTS though and if you've never done em before they'll be a little purple for a few hours after. But they will leave them nice and thin without messing up their shape

If you wear more tight fitting clothes, I wouldn't be surprised if you began to feel more confident as a result.
