I sort of agree with the sentiment of people lacking objectivity but "Person of the Year" has positive connotations, almost like praise. Giving some award to Bin Laden or Hitler is just fucking mental.
It's not an award, it's an end of the year summation of who was the most important person that year. For better or worse.
As far as I'm concerned, there are still positive connotations that equate it to an award or praise of some kind. No one says "Wow, he was named Person of the Year? What a piece of shit."
Then the wording should be changed, but there's nothing wrong with the idea.

Why did this all happen in the first place?
Kenny's discord started as an extension of the Skype group, which was comprised of Nuka, Sol, Kupo, Das, and a few others. It was a tight-knit kind of group. Kenny slowly started opening it up to the general public, which raised the ire of the "founding" members. When Jim and Arky were invited to the discord, nuka left and sol was really mad but not mad enough to leave. Anyway, because of this, Kupo kicked everyone from the server to spite Kenny. When I learned that everyone was kicked and not just me, I made a new server and tried to get everyone back. Somehow, a rumor started that I was the one who kicked everyone so I could run my own server. More and more people started to accuse me of that bullshit, and it infuriated me since I didn't do anything. In hindsight I may have overreacted, but I HATE when people think things about me that are just objectively false.
