none of these characters are avatar worthy
"woah man we have to show that our badass dame is badass, let's turn her into a dude" -- every 'girl power' character in the world

where were you when a show didn't choose between femininity and power

villainy requires malice
Wrong!

A wolf that eats a rabbit is evil even if he doesn't know it.

A schitzophrenic man that thinks he's being attacked by ogres and shoots them all, when really he's at the mall, is evil even if he can't be blamed.

Intent doesn't facilitate evil, actions do.

so saving the life of a woman by holding the belief of "women and children first" isn't evil, because youre action is saving someone's life

doesn't matter if your intentions are based on sexism
Wrong

discrimination is worse than letting someone die, easily

any fucking day

i would say yes

holy fucking shit please be trolling

I bet you thought the judicial system in minority report wasn't fucked up at all LMAO
i haven't seen it, but i really like the idea of catching criminals before they commit crimes

pretty ingenious
Then they aren't criminals.
doesn't matter at that point

criminal would be redefinedโ€”for the better
literally stalin style thinking

yep

cringe
aw I had a free cringe card? Why would I post a completely non cringy (to a normal person) gif from a popular sitcom?

I had the perfect aku/mandy op

and have you been listening? "A criminal before they commit a crime" is called an innocent. Even outside of movie universes.
then it wouldn't matter whether you're innocent or not

what would matter is if you've never and will never commit a crime in your life

only they would be safe and only they deserve to be safe
Nope! All that matters is if you're innocent up until this point. If you heard that a baby would become a serial killer when he's 40 out of stress, would you arrest the baby? Would you deprive him and the world of 39 crime-free years?

If you try to stop evil by attacking innocents, you're the fucking evil one

Law is about deterrence through punishment, not prevention. If I walk into an apartment building with a registered gun, a bottle of chloroform, a pillow, while wearing a raincoat, NO cop should be allowed to arrest me, as I didn't do anything wrong. Am I probably planning to murder someone based on what I posess? Of course. But I haven't murdered anyone yet, no (morally sound) law has been broken.

You care about prevention, lock your door. Lock it again. Buy a gun, set up a booby trap, adopt a rottweiler. Don't demand the police arrest a non lawbreaking citizen.

so you can intend to murder somebody and fail

and it's not evil because you didn't murder them despite your intentions
Not at all. You didn't do a thing.

Are thoughtcrimes evil now?

If you intended to murder someone by shooting and you miss, you're guilty of what you did: causing fear/intimidation/trauma

If you intended to murder someone by poisoning their stevia and they choose not to drink it anyway, you're guilty of what you did: nothing.

TAG: Sitcom...there was a place of great goodness called the White Lodge. Gentle fawns gamboled there amidst happy, laughing spirits. The sounds of innocence and joy filled the air. And when it rained, it rained sweet nectar that infused one's heart with a desire to live life in truth and beauty. Generally speaking, a ghastly place, reeking of virtue's sour smell. Engorged with the whispered prayers of kneeling mothers, mewling newborns, and fools, young and old, compelled to do good without reason. But I'm happy to point out that our story does not end in this wretched place of saccarhine excess. For there is another place, its opposite. A place of almost unimaginable power, chock full of dark forces and vicious secrets. No prayers dare enter this frightful maw, for spirits there care not for good deeds or priestly invocations. They are likely to rip the flesh from your bones then greet you with a happy "good day". And if harnessed, these spirits, in this hidden land of unmuffled screams and broken hearts, will offer up a power so vast that its bearer might reorder the earth itself to his liking. Now, this place I speak of is known as the Black Lodge - and I intend to find it.

You think that but a lot of it is based on emotion.
like what, give an example
Your whole life view, the antinatalism thing. You seem to be one of these hyper-sympathetic type of people. When you see your friends and family suffering it probably really really bums you out. Like I said you should get medication, you see the cup as half empty all the time. It's never half full to you. You refuse to see it that way because you're so emotional you believe it's dumb or wrong of you to let your brain kind of take a breather from being so disgusted with everything.

Maybe I'm way off but that's how it seems to me.
what about a person like me who lives life in true beauty and is an antinatalist because of common sense

They're not wrong though

Even if she meant it literally, that she wanted all her money to disappear live a completely normal life, there would be NOTHING wrong with that. Boo hoo, you're not rich. That doesn't give every rich person an obligation to stay rich.

Literally the same logic I'd use to be "against" FtM trans people, except even I can recognize that the disdain there is illogical and rooted in emotion. Which, surprise, is the same as the anti-wealth sentiment.
People who desire wealth but lack the drive to acquire it don't appreciate what they have.
People who have wealth but desire to be common don't appreciate what they have.

Both types of people are shallow.
Are FtM trans people shallow? Are MtF trans people shallow? Is someone who has a mutiliation fetish and cuts off the tip of their finger shallow? Is a man who gives up his possessions to live in the wild shallow?

People giving up things that are considered desirable by society or sects of society aren't shallow. She doesn't appreciate what she has? Why the fuck should she, if what she has is considered negative by HER??

God you've become so dumb
Everyone is shallow.

It's one of the traits that set humans apart from animals.
We refuse to be grateful for what we have.
We are shallow.

Separate yourself from possession and desire, and close yourself to jealousy and greed.
Do not want what is beyond your grasp. You will gain only pain.

If you expose yourself to peril, make it count.
Toil for an attainable goal, so that your pain births joy.

Do not mourn for the loss of a limb.
You have already lost the limb, let the pain end there.
Embrace your disfigurement and seek to overcome it.
Do not subject yourself to wanton woe and fail to bear fruit from it.

Depth comes from understanding.
Shallowness comes from fruitless woe.

So to answer your questions: not, anymore.
Because they address their own malcontent.
Before they address it, they are without depth.

They are merely a thin layer of grey malcontent adhering to the surface of a well filled with something colorful and wonderful in its own right.

The lesson is this: learn to appreciate what you have or do something to change it, because if not you will never find peace.
hmmm very good read! I like your grasp of words haha  :) just as some constructive criticism (even the best writers need it!) maybe tone down the intensity of your wording? It's good to have some range, but you don't want to look like you're trying to show off lol  :D not that you were, it's just that showy dialogue can often have that effect on your story. Anyway I think you have a lot of promise and I look forward to reading some more of your stuff!  ;)
