Kevlar can witshstand saw blades and other sharp objects similar to that. why the fuck do you think they have Kevlar gloves for woodsmen and jobs in that particular field ? And by "virtually impenetrable" I mean by the standards of the time period not modern day's standards. we don't have bullets sooo why the fuck does it matter, and just because it can cause a bruise doesn't mean it can penetrate it. Not to mention I did my research with the fibers, what the fuck else do you think "research with experimental fibers" means?
Das said it best: Wait... isn't a synthetic fiber dependent on the ability to manufacture polymers with ridiculously concentrated sulfuric acid in a sterile lab environment that can't even be hand spun afterwords a little... ahead of our time here? And yeah, sharp objects can easily penetrate Kevlar. The whole point is that anything with a continuous driving force behind it (such as a stab) can tear through the fiber with practically no effort, but something that has a fixed driving force (such as a bullet) has a harder time doing it. But it's still possible. And yeah, we do have guns and bullets now. Where have you been?

Is there a way to make posts non-anonymous by default? I'm too much of an attention whore to ever use this feature.
If you'd like to post with your own name, make sure you check the NOT ANONYMOUS box on the reply page (this does not appear on quick reply). Just don't check le box
No, you do need to check the box. All posts are anonymous by default and right now there's no way to make it the other way around.
Ugh, lame. You should have to check the box to be anonymous, not the reverse of that.

I'll see if I can make it until then. I've got to post something up that will get me a ticket into hell and leave a sour taste in all of your mouths before I go. Cause it wouldn't be fun any other way.
I like you more and more every day, Sandy.

Due to the research with experimental fibers, Japan has discovered an extremely strong substance that they have named "Kevlar" The fiber seems to be virtually inpenatrable. And is left unharmed when met with a blade. Japan begins creating light armor with layers of Kevlar. Due page 62.
Uh, no. Do you even know what Kevlar is? You'll have to research aramid fiber before even thinking of actually utilizing it into equippable armor, let alone producing it on a mass scale. And besides, you're completely wrong about the properties of Kevlar. It's not "virtually impenetrable". A single bullet actually has a high chance of piercing it, and is guaranteed to at least cause a huge bruise and plenty of pain. And no, it's not unharmed when met with a sword. Any kind of sharp object will cut right through it. Do some research before you try this shit.

Likewise.
Would the Chinese care to elaborate?
China disagrees with Australia's rapid competition with New Zealand in the Middle East, especially when New Zealand has far less territory than Australia. But we're in no positition to question your sovereignty, just as you're in no position to question ours.

China states that the agency merely exists to preserve the rich culture and history of the nation.
By inciting fear in civilians to prevent any sort of revolt?
There is no such fear involved with the methods of the Shรฒuyฤซ. China inquires as to the nature of these accusations.
Australia politely declines to reveal our informants.
More asking why you're so interested in the inner workings of our nation than how.
Australia simply disagrees with the handling of affairs by the Chinese in some of their regions.
Likewise. Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Norway, and Sweden annexation complete. China begins the indoctrination and conscription of the natives of these countries. Two Shรฒuyฤซ Bรกi agents are sent to oversee the transition. 80,000 MK2 revolvers โ 50% New firearm development โ 30%

China creates the Shรฒuyฤซ Bรกi (็ฝๅฏฟ่กฃ), the "cultural authority" of China. Members are extremely highly trained, having to endure borderline-torturous initiation rituals. Shรฒuyฤซ agents are currently only twenty in number. Their training consists primarily of stealth, subterfuge, and coercion.
Shรฒuyฤซ Bรกi is now forty in number. Five agents are sent into Mongolia to ensure that another rebellion isn't being planned. All agents are given carbon steel MK2 revolvers and katanas. Ten are assigned to serve as the Emperor's elite guard. Two agents are sent into Japan.
King Star inquires the necessity of such an organization.
