other thought so I dont quadpost: why is it that the moment with the most tension didnt even involve the saviors: Jesus: "Did you just threaten me?"
Gregory: "I was being sarcastic..."
Jesus: "No, I think you just threatened me." Gregory is such an A1 character tbh, he reacts in such realistic ways. "I was being sarcastic" is such a human way to divert a mistake in conversation. Also the fact that he's still alive is so surprising but awesome Simon/Gregory interactions are awesome

With Scott Gimple as showrunner, diverging from the comics on such big moments is highly unlikely, especially given the storylines after where Negan is pretty much essential. I bet the reason why they introduced Simon is so they have a satisfying villain death at the end of Season 8.
Simon isn't 1/10 as hateable as Negan I hope they just make Gavin the Savior who gets spared, he's actually cool af

Every one of his "wives"? You can't consent when the implication of fear/death is there. ESPECIALLY true with Dwight's wife, who was given the choice of "be with Negan or your husband dies".
