It's a really, really terrible way to get a buzz. You sit down and hold your breath for around 20 seconds, then you stand up really suddenly, keeping your breath held in for another 5-10 seconds. After you exhale, you get super trippy for a minute and a half or so, but it feels so much longer than that. Everything sounds like music, people's faces get distorted, and it's like you're in a dream. I used to do that shit a lot when I was young and bored.
Sounds like what happens when you stand up really fast and the blood rushes to your head. I used to get them all the time , my vision would start blurring and everything would sound echoey and far away. If it was really bad I'd lose consciousness for a few seconds.
It's essentially inducing that, but on a much more potent level.
