Serious / Re: Judicial Restraint or Activism
« on: November 12, 2014, 07:35:32 PM »
Restraint.

Why?
Because the Supreme Court's role isn't to champion progressiveness, it's to uphold current laws and protect the Constitution. If something is obviously unconstitutional or vastly outdated, then justices have the obligation to do something about it, sure. But it's the legislative branch's job to progress the country and try to push unique ideals, not the judicial's.

The same quests? There's literally hundreds of unique, non-radiant quests in the game.
Did you somehow play a different game? Because a lot of the side shit is just the same boring crap.

The plot is pretty fucking weak.

And are you actually serious about your "interpretation" of the combat? It's not all just spamming R2. You won't even get out of Helgen with that strategy.
You're making out as if it's some intricate system that requires a lot of skill.
Pressing LT and RT is all the combat it.
I've had more engrossing shits than Skyrim's combat.
You're obviously locked down in this irrational hatred of one of the best games of the decade. Like I said before, find a better thing to be against if you want to look cool. I hear MCC is pretty popular, maybe you could "hate" that.

Serious / Re: Why do people continue to give their children the flu shot?
« on: November 12, 2014, 07:26:59 PM »
Just saw thread title was talking about children.  Point still stands, why spread the flu around and get people sick?  We're not completely immune to it and it's a very shitty time when you get sick.  It's just a simple needle shot and you're done.  That's all you have to worry about.

Vaccines are a necessary evil. It's common knowledge that the mere system of vaccinating people can be harmful, and is much more debilitating than the flu. Now, I'd rather face the consequences of getting vaccinated than let myself be at risk for polio or measles, but it's a testament to American ignorance that people would rather put themselves at extreme risk than accept a 2 or 3 day illness once a year.

Get educated, man. Flu shots are an unnecessary evil.
I can't tell if you're serious
Of course I am. I don't necessarily agree with that entire picture (especially the "cancer" part), but flu vaccines definitely do more harm than good. The flu isn't even a serious enough illness to warrant any kind of mass-produced government remedy.

That's because Skyrim is the better game. I love all the kids who constantly hate on it in an attempt to seem cool.
But Skyrim is so shallow
There's tons of shit to do
Besides doing the same quests and going through the same caves again and again?

Repeatedly pressing RT isn't engrossing.
The same quests? There's literally hundreds of unique, non-radiant quests in the game. And please. Skyrim has an amazing story. It's not black and white which faction is "good", and the entire Great War/Altmer concept is amazingly interesting. Not really. There's tons of shit to do, a great narrative, and engrossing combat. It's an improvement on Oblivion and Morrowind in nearly every way.

I get lost looking at that Azula avatar erry time.
You should, it's amazing. And you're a chill enough user, though we haven't had much interaction. I remember you from Bnet.

I don't pay much attention to your posts. But I feel like you don't like me for whatever reason.
I see your posts very infrequently, so I don't have much of an opinion on you.

I don't think we've ever spoken. But I think nothing ill of you
The feeling's mutual. I obviously recognize your name, but not much else.

You speak your mind no matter what, and I respect that. 7.5/10
From what I've seen of you, you seem pretty easygoing and friendly. That's a plus in my book, Brandon.  ;)

Awesome user. 10/10 and you play UN games like no ones business :).
Same to you, bro. Easily in the Top 3 users of this site.

You turned the Republic of Dave into a glue factory, you bastard!

...but, other than that, we cool. You play good stuff on Plug.DJ and conversation isn't exactly dead when you're around.
Great user. Interesting to talk to and not too serious. You have all the good avatars, too.

You're alright in my book.
I don't really like you. Too uptight and serious for my taste.

Pretty chill, fun with UN games
As always, an overall excellent member. Nothing more to be said.

You're cool bruh.
Meh. You're kind of like a mix between Deci and Zesty in my book, but you have your good moments.

Why would you need a separate thread for this? It is not like coup on b.old where you would have to make a huge blank post to show it off.
Show off? We have it everywhere we post, so that's already showing off.

Thanks bro, you're pretty chill as well.

You're cool. Better than a hell of a lot of other people here.

I haven't really seen you post, but you do like a lot of my posts, so you're cool enough.

I received a P.M during the SecondClass invasion on Bnet. Sometime in 2013 I believe. They tried to recruit me into their trolling antics. Was that you, or just some random using your name?
Did they ask you to join a group or change your name to SecondClass?

Change my name.
Then it wasn't me.

I'm a newfriend and I don't even know how to make a custom nameplate. Is there a step-by-step guide anywhere around here or what?
1.) Post 3,000 times
2.) Join the ranking circlejerk and become Legendary
3.) Have the stylistic skills to make a good nameplate
Do I need a Premium Account?
No, an SCPM just lets you change the color around your avatar.
