I want to get some technical skills so I could counter-doxx evil future date-rapists like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/rickandmorty/comments/71scc1/rick_and_morty_dan_harmon_denounces_fans_who/dndctah/
I would never ever assault any person in any way. But i have an opinion, i think the fact that season 3 contains strong, independent women idea a bit overdosed and out of tune. I'm fine with Beth and Jerry divorcing, Beth is portrayed as a strong independent woman since she actually is and Jerry being a loser and that is his character, it's all fine. The thing that bothers me is a drastic change in Summer.
She is a completely different character now and i think it is safe to assume most of this comes from the female writers. She looks and acts way more smarter, cool and involved. She was a dumb, attention seeker highschool girl untill season 2 then boom she is a shooting people like "whatever", she is taking risks, eager for adventures, banging bandit dude bossing and needling Rick and Morty. This drastic change looks a bit immoderate. She uses guns, handles dangerous and risky situations like she is doing it for long time. In "Rickmancing the Stone", Summer's attitudes and abilities looked a bit overdosed. I mean a season ago she was overly insecure about herself and her popularity in school but now she has a very high confidence jump. If this changes were a bit more smooth i would'nt mind or probably wouldn't even notice it. If there is something i missed that justifies these changes, i am open for criticism.
In conclusion, you might think that i am a biggot or women hater which i'm not but sadly that is how i felt in that episode. I think Dan Harmon also went a bit too far, i dont think that most of the fans think that they own the show. At least the ones with brain. We don't own anything about this show other than our opinions about it. I'm trying to enjoy these talented people's work and imagination, but when i think one ingredient looks overly used, i think i have a right to say what i felt about it.

βThese knobs, that want to protect the content they think they own β and somehow combine that with their need to be proud of something they have, which is often only their race or gender. Itβs offensive to me as someone who was born male and white, and still works way harder than them, that thereβs some white male [fan out there] trying to further some creepy agenda by βprotectingβ my work. Iβve made no bones about the fact that I loathe these people. It fucking sucks."
βAnd the only thing I can say is if youβre lucky enough to make a show that is really good that people like, that means some bad people are going to like it too. You canβt just insist that everybody who watches your show get their head on straight β¦ And Iβm speaking for myself β I donβt want the show to have a political stance. But at the same time, individually, these [harassers] arenβt politicians and donβt represent politics. They represent some shit that I probably believed when I was 15.β
βI was familiar going into the third season, having talked to Felicia Day, that any high-profile women get doxxed, they get harassed, they get threatened, they get slandered,β he said. βAnd part of it is a testosterone-based subculture patting themselves on the back for trolling these women, because to the extent that you get can get a girl to shriek about a frog youβve proven girls are girly and thereβs no crime in assaulting her with a frog because itβs all in the name of proving something. I think itβs all disgusting.β when a self loathing alcoholic is the voice of reason

are you sure you don't like negan or does he just not align with you politically? because that's not an excuse
good villain
I don't like him personally, but further than that, he's a bad character
he's evil for the sake of being evil, his motivations are inconsistent and weak, and he just generally sucks the air out of every scene he's in
he's literally boring
only good part about him is his occasional funny reactions ("Goddamn TIGER!") or seeing him vulnerable.
he's a Joffrey tier villain
also the best actors in both shows
I dont watch lame of thrones and L O Loff the top of my head Melissa McBride Lennie James Steven Yeun Seth Gilliam Josh McDermitt Lauren Cohan all beat JDM don't even get me started on FTWD actors

also no, no reasonable critic likes negan
he's not funny nor likeable
I'd rather have a season at the farm than see negan 1 more time
whatever you say
you are 13 y/o suburban boy with pent up emotions to like negan
you think the hospital arc was good so any opinions you have are automatically invalidated
dawn is twice the villain negan is she was, you know, a characternot a caricature yeah the beth parts were weak (as per beth) but that's the fault of her actress, not the plotting of the hospital arc

hey class you'll be pleased to know that we may end up getting a negan-centric episode in around season 11
if you think rick fucking grimes isnt going to keep this promise then youre crazy
he saod that in the comics too and still hasnt done it
that's because kirkman is a hack who lets 14 year olds with anger issues write his plots
the show has a showrunner but there are so many more moving parts and people responsible for telling the story
critics are already getting sick of negan, let alone at the end of S8
critics didn't have a problem with negan himself, they had a problem with how frequently he was used in 7A, a point that I agree with, but this was fixed in 7B with negan only properly appearing in 3 of the 8 episodes (Hostiles and Calamities, Something They Need and the finale), something which critics made a note of. And so far, 8A is looking to have a roughly similar amount of screentime for Negan.
our only hope is for someone to assassinate JDM

Negan is a really good villain.
as if
"I flip from being intimidating to being funny"
like ok
also he is so smarmy and just generally unlikeable
sophia's ghost was a better plot sponge than him
Hey look, you hate him. He succeeded.
Good villain.
you love to hate good villains, you bear them negan is unbearable

i still don't know why they don't just kill him
when the villain has plot armor too

oh dear.
>entertaining shows >2017 it's no breaking bad or true detective, not like it's some well-crafted magnum opus, but it's entertaining af and has some great characters

also am I the only person who doesn't give a shit about Dwight or his arc I care about fat joey's ghost more than bizzaro daryl
other thought so I dont quadpost: why is it that the moment with the most tension didnt even involve the saviors: Jesus: "Did you just threaten me?"
Gregory: "I was being sarcastic..."
Jesus: "No, I think you just threatened me." Gregory is such an A1 character tbh, he reacts in such realistic ways. "I was being sarcastic" is such a human way to divert a mistake in conversation. Also the fact that he's still alive is so surprising but awesome Simon/Gregory interactions are awesome
