The Flood / Re: users that should go an hero
« on: January 28, 2015, 05:31:29 PM »
Speak like a normal fucking human, please. I have no idea what "an hero" is.
It's even more common than "get some sun".

It means suicide, and is derived from someone on the Internet who was talking about some guy who had killed himself, and he described him as "an hero".
Any meme isn't more common than "get some sun". Just because you somehow have never heard of that incredibly abundant phrase doesn't make it less incredibly abundant.

I am finding contradiction here;
Quote
Studies have found a dangerous connection between aspartame consumption and the development of brain tumors. When aspartame breaks down it produces a substance called DKP. As your stomach digests DKP, it produces a chemical that induces the growth of brain tumors.
You probably stumbled across one of the non-government influenced studies. Even "independent" research that supports aspartame consumption is so obviously skewed.

ITT: Hurtful Turkey proves his opinions should never be taken seriously.

Ironic, coming from someone whose opinion is respected by nobody.
If my opinion ever becomes respected on this forum, shoot me. Sep7 is notorious for having terrible political beliefs.

Anyone who thinks aspartame is anything less than literal fucking poison is a retard.

tfw you're hotter than Jive
Maybe if you were actually Shatner.
Shatner isn't even attractive, lol. Worf is hotter than that joke of an actor.
Shatner can act circles around you. Even if he is a fat ass.
I don't doubt it. I'm not an actor.

It doesn't make you fat, it gives you cancer, Parkinson's, and countless other diseases.

There is literally zero proof of this, and mountains of evidence to the contrary.
How much wool do you produce per year? Is your pasture nice?

The consensus among scientists and all the data from numerous studies conclude the aspartame is in no way harmful for you except in unrealistically extreme proportions (100+ cans of soda per day for months). There is literally no evidence that it is carcinogenic.

The only harmful aspect is that it gets your body accustomed to eating sweet things, which can result in cravings for sweet things. If you have an ounce of self control in your diet it poses zero risk.
Fucking bullshit. There's no sense even arguing with brainwashed idiots like you. The government wants aspartame to be accepted, and you're a fool if you think studies can't be bought.

So this is just a catch-all response to any science-backed refutation. You're welcome to live in a fantasy world where the government can just buy-out hundreds of independent studies just for the sake of convincing people that something with zero calories can magically make you fat. That sounds like a reasonable, logical conclusion.
It doesn't make you fat, it gives you cancer, Parkinson's, and countless other diseases. You can live in your magical world where poisons are perfectly acceptable, but I'd rather not die from something that can he easily avoided.

And with that, I leave this thread. Otherwise I'll tear my fucking hair out.

Something you don't know how to use effectively.
"Get some sun" is a common figure of speech, you fucking dumbass. For a self-proclaimed smart person, you're pretty idiotic.

Oooh, you "won" this "conversation" with semantics. Good job, bro. Maybe get some sun now?
So, it's semantics to correct someone's misinterpretation of a post that I made. All right.

Also,

>sun
>michigan
>winter

Come on. This is just plain stupid.
>taking the expression "get some sun" literally

Anyone with half a brain knows that aspartame is a harmful chemical that has no reason to be in our food. Hell, HFCS is a better sweetener than that poison.

No one has to defend their tastes to you.
Who said they had to?
Yes it is, if people would explain to me why they like the movies they like. That's how this works.
You.

Getting pissy that people have different tastes than you isn't a discussion.

So...you admit that taste is subjective, yet you still think that it's unempathetic to let people enjoy the movies that they enjoy?
Yes, it is. "Letting people enjoy it" is anti-discussion.

Being anti-discussion is being anti-intelligent.
No, trying to create conflict when there is none is anti-intelligent. A discussion in the first place isn't always warranted. The thread title is "YOUR favorite movies", so you should expect some people to not match your taste. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Taste is subjective. Your taste isn't the defining authority on what's good and what's bad.
No fucking shit!

Because they're other people's personal opinions. There's no reason whatsoever to even bat an eye at them. If someone has shitty taste, why do you feel the need to get irritated?
Empathy. I wouldn't want to have shitty taste, so why would I be okay with anyone else having shitty taste?
lol this logic makes no fucking sense.

Taste is subjective. Your taste isn't the defining authority on what's good and what's bad.

Sorry, I'm on the road now. I won't have wifi on my 2DS until later. Do both people have to be online to trade? If so, we can just wait until tomorrow if later today isn't good for you.
Later is fine with me.

Hell yes, thank you! I don't really care about the IVs, so this is much appreciated. I'll add you in the morning.

Just grab me a Fletchling if you can so that I don't have an empty spot in my box.
For sure, I'll just trade you the one I currently have. Thanks again!

I'm ready to trade, I sent you a PM.
