Humans are sexual creatures
Which is the fucking problem. Humans are pieces of shit, yes, no news there. Maybe we should STOP being pieces of shit?
I can't wait until you grow up and stop seeing the world through this idealistic lens. Humans can be shitty, sure, and we probably are most of the time. But you're a human. And your life is objectively the most important thing in your life. Sex is pleasurable, and so is seeing sexual things. You simply can't deny that.

People are too uptight. Who cares about developers or directors including fanservice in their works? Humans are sexual creatures, and trying to impose words like "perverted" and "slut" on those that are fulfilling a completely natural desire is idiocy. I don't have a problem with more proportionate bodies at all, but I don't have a problem with unrealistic ones, either. If I'm playing a game for 30+ hours with a female protagonist, it's more desirable (but not required by any means) for the girl to be hot. Same if I was a girl and I was playing something like GoW.

At the end of the day, fiction is fiction. If you're seeing these busty women and ripped men and comparing that to real life, that's your problem.

I don't "respect" anyone I haven't at least met. I do like most of the users here, though.

None of the core members are here, and no people like SecondClass don't count.
I'm easily more of a "core member" than you, lol.
but class
The impersonation alts were more remembered than your actual account.
And?

The Flood / Re: Do you consider yourself a "core member" of the Flood?

What would even classify you as a "core" member anyway?
An established part of the community or history.
So popular members pre-2012 overhaul?
Just any member whose name is widely known among most of the members. "SecondClass", "PSU", "MyNameIsCharlie", etc. Names that are generally recognized as 'famous'.

Spoiler
Decimator Omega, now known as Explosion Imminent, publicly known as Armen, I think we need to address your issues.  You clearly have a problem with people on forums, and it stretches beyond your autism (I apologize for your condition by the way, it is an extremely unfortunate thing to happen to a bright young man such as yourself.)  I think you may have a disorder known as Internet Addiction Disorder.

Quote
Internet addiction disorder (IAD), now more commonly called problematic Internet use (PIU)[1] or compulsive Internet use (CIU).[2] Other overlapping terms include Internet overuse, problematic computer use or pathological computer use – and even iDisorder.[3] These terms avoid the word addiction and are not limited to any single cause, but only reflect a general statement about excessive computer use that interferes with daily life.[4]

IAD was originally proposed as a disorder in a satirical hoax by Ivan Goldberg, M.D., in 1995,[5] though some later researchers have taken his essay seriously. He took pathological gambling as diagnosed by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) as his model for the description of IAD.[6] IAD receives coverage in the press, and possible future classification as a psychological disorder continues to be debated and researched in the psychiatric community.[7] A systematic review of PIU identified a lack of standardization of the conceptualization of PIU as a major impediment to advancing this area of study.[8]

Other habits such as reading, playing computer games, or watching very large numbers of Internet videos or movies are all troubling only to the extent that these activities interfere with normal life. IAD is often divided into subtypes by activity, such as excessive, overwhelming, or inappropriate Internet pornography use, gaming, online social networking, blogging, email,[9] or Internet shopping (shopping addiction).[10] Opponents note that compulsive behaviors may not themselves be addictive.[11]

Internet addiction is a subset of a broader "technology addiction". Obsession with technology started with radio in the 1930s and with television in the 1960s, but has recently exploded in importance during the current digital age.[3] A study published in the journal Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking (2014) suggests that prevalence of Internet addiction varies considerably between countries and is inversely related to quality of life. [12]

I think you may need to cease your internet activity, or at the very least start a consistent process of slowly weaning yourself away from your computer.  I know a good therapist that can help you, he even allows Skype conferences if you cannot make it to his office.

Please, Decimator Omega, now known as Explosion Imminent, I want to help you.  But you have to push yourself as well, my friend and I cannot do this alone.  We need you to commit with us.  Please PM me for information.

God speed.
LOL

whoever made this alt, I love you

I stand out here, and on Bnet I'm in a tight-knit group with some newer folks.
So I'm pretty well established on both sides.

People say the follower count doesn't matter on Bnet, BUT it does say a lot if you have a ton.
I've got 115 right now, so that's cool :P
I only have like 130 on my main. It doesn't help when most people see your name and assume you're an imposter, lol.

Spinning off from that other thread. I don't necessarily mean this site, but the Flood in general.

I'd say I definitely am. While I might not have been that well-known on the site before 2011 (though I was still there as early as '07), my status as a "Floodian" is deeply cemented.

How do you see yourself?
