A character has to be pretty much perfect to be a Mary Sue, or exist entirely for wish fulfillment. She's neither. While her desire to be perfect is definitiely a defining character trait, it's obvious from the show's finale that she's far from it.

Well, as I said before. It was most likely a joke due to the fact anyone with half a brain would understand that both paracetamol and Ibuprofen do not kill you.
They can fuck up your liver, but they won't kill you.
I don't know about paracetamol, but ibuprofen can definitely kill you. Regardless of whether or not his suicide was successful is one thing, but I seriously doubt he was joking. MM isn't the type to joke about stuff like that.
