why is the divide 21, when 25 is considered overweight?
25 being the "overweight line" is very generous. I'd consider anyone above 23 fat, and anyone between 21-23 chubby.

Yep. Even though I barely lift anymore I'm still in better shape than anyone here and my BMI is "overweight".
Everyone knows BMI is a broken system.
I'd rather be skinny than have fat over muscle any day.
I'd rather be considered "overweight" by a computer BMI system, than be skinny and out of shape.

A character has to be pretty much perfect to be a Mary Sue, or exist entirely for wish fulfillment. She's neither. While her desire to be perfect is definitiely a defining character trait, it's obvious from the show's finale that she's far from it.
