>he thinks avatar is complex >he thinks a simple concept that's been done thousands of times before us "deep" >he thinks clannad is good

Sorry for the different opinion, man. Won't happen again.

vs
Aang: Avatar Yangchen, the monks always taught me that all life is sacred, even that of the tiniest spider-fly caught in its own web. I'm even a vegetarian. I've always tried to solve my problems by being quick or clever. I've only had to use violence for necessary defence and I've certainly never used it to take a life. Yangchen: Avatar Aang, I know that you're a gentle spirit and the monks have taught you well. But this isn't about you, this is about the World. Aang: But the monks taught me that I had to detach myself from the world so my spirit can be free! Yangchen: Many great and wise air nomads have detached themselves and achieved spiritual enlightenment...but the Avatar can never do it, because your sole duty is to the world. Here is my wisdom for you. Selfless duty calls you to sacrifice your own spiritual needs and do whatever it takes to protect the world. vs Namekian: It's an invader. Namekian 2: What does he want? Vegeta: Which one of you is the Elder? I'm here for the Dragon Ball. If you have it, get it. Namekian 3: How rude! Namekian Elder: I am the Elder. Now I must ask, what use do you have for the Dragon Ball? Vegeta: That's my business old man! Where is it? Namekian Elder: I'm sorry. But I cannot give you what you are seeking. Only those who are worthy may claim the Dragon Ball. Vegeta: Wrong answer. Bang! (Vegeta does a finger blast at the Elder)

Nope, I've seen all of TLA and LoK. It's just my experience with story and literary narrative aren't limited to Halo novels and children's TV shows.
Uh, neither is mine. I've never even read a fucking Halo novel, what are you talking about? Avatar ( not LOK) is an extremely complex show. Did you just completely miss Zuko Alone? That episode can compete with any episode of Breaking Bad or Clannad and still come out on top.

So?
The activity in Sep7agon has been declining massively for the last 3 months.
Duh. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

>thinking that there are more than 3 characters that are actually interesting and well written
Opinion: disregarded.
He's right though, we've got Iroh, Zuko, and... um... er... Cabbage Guy.
Zuko Iroh Azula Aang Sokka Azulon Toph Kuei
You know what, it would be faster to count the characters that aren't interesting or well written.
Katara
>generic angsty anti-hero
>well written character
>generic hot and crazy power hungry bad chick
>generic protagonist

Did you just like...read the back of the season two box, or a Wikipedia article, or something? Because it's clear you haven't seen the show.

Because a cop doing bad shit is more news worthy than one doing his job.
I'm not talking about a cop doing his job. I'm talking about cops who turn in bad cops for being bad cops.
It's not as easy as "hey, you're corrupt! You're coming with me!" If there's corruption in the police force, the "bad cops" are the ones with power.
I don't disagree.
Then why are you pretending it's that easy?

>being older than seven >watching fucking Dragon Ball
You've got to be kidding me.
Says the guy who idolizes a children's cartoon.
Ah, first I was obsessed, now I idolize it? This forum can't make up it's mind. And no, it's just an amazing children's cartoon with interesting characters, realistic plotting, and an actual non-laughable storyline. Comparing Avatar to Dragon Ball is like comparing Breaking Bad to the Big Bang Theory.

Black Ops II was easily the best COD so far, so I'll be happy if Treyarch can top themselves.
Otherwise...what's the point of this?

Good for you? You know it's sad when you actually care about stuff like this.
I even watched avatar before it was cool.
Since when is watching a kids show cool?
Since 1999 with Spongebob.
Keep telling yourself that, buddy.

Is there any way to transfer my ORAS pokemon to showdown? I don't have a lot of good battling pokemon, but I do have an excellently EV trained Absol I'd like to use.
No showdown is completely separate from the games.
None of this breeding or EV training bullshit. You build a team almost instantly.
Ugh, lame. I'll just make a duplicate of the one I have in ORAS, then

I suck at competitive battling, but what the hell. Sign me up.
Awesome, what's your Pokemon Showdown username?
