Exactly.

How, exactly?
Eh, I just don't know why anyone would want to tie themselves down to their parents any longer than necessary. I moved out the month after I turned 18.

18-24

That covers Uni
You honestly think 18 is too old to be living with your parents still?
Not too old, but it's certainly time to think about moving out. Most people are still in high school when they turn 18, so I'd actually put graduating HS as the point when you're too old.
But you finish High School when you're 18 (in the US at least).
I finished High School when I was 16. That was 3 years ago, and I'm still living at home. There's literally nothing wrong with it.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with it from an ethical standpoint or anything - it's just a bit pathetic and lame.

Does my new nameplate look tacky? I like the pun and all, but I'm afraid the font is off.

Jesus, do you even read your own posts?

Anything after high school is irrelevant to what we're talking about. And please, don't pretend that high SAT/ACT scores and being popular in high school are mutually exclusive. I smoked weed and slacked off all throughout HS and still got a 2140 on my SAT, so it's really not indicative of anything.
I constantly read my own posts. If we could "like" our own posts, I would so do it, every single time--and you come off like an individual who would do the same thing.

Anything after high school may be "irrelevant to what we're talking about," but my whole point, my whole argument, is that everything that happens in high school is irrelevant--especially prom. Once you establish that something is irrelevant, it becomes useless to talk about it. So if you're a "loser in high school"... Who gives a fuck? You talk about it like it matters.
Uh, I never said it matters in the long run. It matters while you're in high school.

If we could "like" our own posts, I would so do it, every single time--and you come off like an individual who would do the same thing.
Lol, this is so true

Who wasn't a loser in high school?
Like 40% of high schoolers
Damn. I guess I'll need to take a second to inform one of my best friends, who is currently attending Yale, that he's a loser, as well. With his perfect SAT/ACT scores. If only he had went to prom--that would have made all the difference in his life. He would be a real winner.

If you're of the disposition that would lead to you even asking this (i.e., you don't have a large group of friends to go with or a girl to ask), then no, you won't. I went to two and the real memories are of the after-party.
What I didn't mention in the OP is that if I went this year, I wouldn't get to go to the after-party. See my reply to Ryle.
Then don't even bother.

I sure didn't. I'm sure it might have been fun on a base level, but prom always just seemed like a colossal waste of time and money for what basically amounts only to a big ol' circlejerk, followed by a half-assed popularity contest that nobody is going to remember in the next five years. It's no big loss.
Confirmed loser in HS

This. Did you go to an afterparty last year? If not, definitely do it this time.

Third plat is the highest I've been on the stuff, but it's still incredible. Dissociation is the weirdest and most comforting feeling.

Quote
In the video, a sheriff's helicopter can be seen landing next to the man, who falls off the horse and is stunned by one of the deputies. Two deputies begin punching him in the head and kneeing him in the groin. Then, three others arrive and join in the pummeling, which lasts about two minutes.

The sheriff's office identified the man in a statement as Francis Jared Pusok, 30, of Apple Valley. It said Pusok was being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries.

Jesus, people in California are fucking protective about their horses.
