Drawings should never be illegal.

"oh but it normalizes child porn"

No, it gives pedophiles a safe outlet for their desires. Without that, their sexual repression would just build up and build up until they actually act on their urges in a harmful way. Pedophilia is like homosexuality or any fetish. You're born that way. You have no control over feeling that urge; all that matters is whether or not you act on it. And you're far more likely to go out and molest kids if you have no other option for release.

Final Fantasy minigames are notoriously terrible. Except for the card game in VIII, that was actually pretty fun.

I would fight tooth and nail against either.

In the hypothetical situation where I have to choose, though, I'd go with the second.

You got it partner. They're even making laws now. British Columbia. It's now illegal to own a garden in the city. Even if it's on your property. Over here in my province. Farm eggs not registered under a company name are illegal to sell in a business and illegal to distribute.
What the fuck, are you serious? And here I thought that the US had it the worst. Something really needs to be done, but the industry has quite skillfully spread the idea that anyone against GMOs or pesticides is just a tinfoil wearing conspiracy theorist. It's messed up.

Nothing. There's nothing wrong with GMOs.
Ah, another one drinks the kool aid.

And genetically modifying organisms through things like breeding selection and such is fine. It's existed for ages. But the modern GMO only exists due to poisonous chemicals and toxins changing the molecular structure of the plant. In other words, stay away at all costs. People who actually defend Monsanto and contemporary GMOs are brainwashed, simple as that.

I didn't figure you'd know much in the way of plant biology, class.
You don't have to be a doctor to know that cigarettes are bad for your lungs, just like you don't need to be a biologist to know that Roundup-sprayed plants are literally poison.

Save for one thing. GMO opposition is heavily downplayed and generally, tried to be stifled and swept under the rug. Most people don't even know what a GMO is if you ask them. You have to do a bit of digging to figure out what exactly a GMO is, let alone to wager that it's bad.
I guess that's true, but I generally see the GMO enablers as knowing that they're terrible for you, but choosing to keep consuming their Cheetos and shit out of laziness anyway.

I always buy organic, but it's not like I'm going to impose that on others.

Right. Standard procedure in the industry then. Now. Question.

Do you know what crop desicating means? Off the top of your head. No google or wiki. You should know this. Cause this one's a kicker. Almost as bad as GMO's. Worse, even.
Of course, that's partly what I was referring to earlier when I said "roundup-sprayed plants". GMOs and herbicides are both terrible, but the true threat is when they're used in conjunction. Especially once you learn that Monsanto's main goal is to eliminate heirloom seeds completely, so they would have a fucking monopoly on FOOD. And if our government doesn't grow some balls and kick out Monsanto lobbyists in Washington, heirloom seeds will be illegal by the end of the next decade.

I love Minecraft, but not really building. I more like killing monsters, exploring, mining, etc. So most of the houses and shit I have on Green's server don't really look great. Any tips you have for building prettier stuff?

Serious / Re: If our universe exist, then what doesn't exist?
« on: May 16, 2015, 03:15:36 AM »
Your basic premise (this idea that everything has to be "balanced") just has no root in fact, at all. The entire universe, everything we know, simply started as a ridiculously dense ball of matter. Nothing was created, it just overflowed with pressure. That doesn't mean it has to have some opposite.

21745
i wouldn't be screwed ever, because i don't give a shit if people watch what i do
hence "if at all"

some people on this site are like you, whereas others would be more concerned

I'm somewhat in the middle. I would be a bit embarrassed about my Grandma, for instance, fully seeing a normal day of mine.

21746
It will be saved and accessible to anyone, at any point in the future. How screwed are you, if at all?

To elaborate, from the second you woke up until now, everything that you saw or did, is now an mp4 file. Your thoughts aren't included.

No

that doesn't mean not i'm able to recognize that when someone says "the good in the world outweighs the bad in the world", they're talking out of their ass
No one ITT has said that. I would definitely argue, though, that "the good in an average human's life outweighs the bad in an average human's life."
