Gaming / Re: What's the most interesting game universe to you?« on: May 31, 2015, 11:01:29 PM »The Ultimanias haven't been fully translated, so I can't really link you to them. Here's the summary, though:]Believe what you want, but it's been explicitly stated out-of-game that 7 and 10 take place in the same universe.Has it really? Link me to something on that? I'm not doubting you, just curious. Quote In Final Fantasy X-2, a member of the Gullwings named "Shinra" proposes the concept of extracting the life energy from within the planet Spira. In the Final Fantasy X-2 Ultimania guidebook published by Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X-2 scenario writer Kazushige Nojima stated that the character Shinra and his proposal are a deliberate nod to the Shinra Company of Final Fantasy VII, and also revealed that he envisioned the events of Final Fantasy X-2 as a prequel to those in Final Fantasy VII. This connection had previously been hinted toward by Kitase and lead Final Fantasy developer Yoshinori Kitase during an interview in the Final Fantasy X Ultimania Omega guidebook, and was again detailed in the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega β two other official publications of Square Enix. 21454

If anything it's just reoccuring themes for them. I highly doubt they're connected at all. The only theory for 7 and 10 was because one NPC in 10.They're all in the same multiverse, and some games are in the same universe, on different planets (such as FFVII and FFX). The whole multiverse thing is more of a highly probable theory, though, I'll give you that. 21455

The Flood / Re: Is there a difference between hunting for sport and hunting for food?« on: May 31, 2015, 08:50:30 PM »Even if you had the legal right, you'd have to probably jump through a bunch of hoops, when it should be as simple as walking into a hospital and asking to be put down. Without question. You can't do that. Now this I obviously agree with. No one has the obligation to live, but our species would die if no one chose to have children on the off chance that they would be living a terrible life. 21460
The Flood / Re: Is there a difference between hunting for sport and hunting for food?« on: May 31, 2015, 08:42:48 PM »You can end your life, if you choose.what gives you the right to kill people who don't want to die? Here's a better question: You can't end your death. 21461
The Flood / Re: Is there a difference between hunting for sport and hunting for food?« on: May 31, 2015, 08:41:48 PM »Murder =/= killingOkay? It is.You can't think of ONE scenario where it would be okay to kill someone. An Ethiopian has the potential to live a good life. If you kill him, he has nothing. And if he really would rather die than live, that's the whole point of suicide.Life is what you make it, and you can make it good. Please tell that to a starving Ethiopian. 21462

Gets you away from your shit life, and your shit addictions. You won't go anywhere, but who cares? And you call me a pessimist. Life is what you make it, and you can make it good. 21463

Nihilism is not believing in anything, but I believe in a lot of things. Most specifically, the superiority of our species above all else. You're a human, you don't need to care about anything that's not going to affect your race.People who respond to an argument solely with "Wrong." should be banned from having an opinion on anything. There is no arguing with a nihilist. None. That is the most fruitless endeavor I could possibly think of, next to arguing with a religious nut. We're not going to get absolutely anywhere, because you're an idiot who thinks only the self matters. Which is wrong. 21470
