Food is necessary. Hunting used to be necessary. Now it's just a fun sport.

A simple request for an unopened can of Diet Coke on a United Airlines flight left Tahera Ahmad in tears. A Muslim chaplain and director of interfaith engagement at Northwestern University, Ahmad, 31, was traveling Friday from Chicago to Washington for a conference promoting dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian youth. She was wearing a headscarf, or hijab. For hygienic reasons, she asked for an unopened can of soda, she said. The flight attendant told her that she could not give her one but then handed an unopened can of beer to a man seated nearby. Ahmad questioned the flight attendant. β€œWe are unauthorized to give unopened cans to people because they may use it as a weapon on the plane,” she recalled the flight attendant telling her.
Way to completely ignore the actual issue.

Any consenting union between two or more of-age adults should be eligible for marriage.

Living in Canada seems sucky in general.

Class. Class. Does this thing's face look like the fucking face of mercy to you?

Spoiler
Sucks that beaver hunting is illegal here in the US

YouTube

I was right apparently. It has no face of mercy.
Oh my god, fuck beavers

Though it was still pretty dumb of him to get that close to an animal known for being territorial.

and i obviously don't do drugs, so i responded with a non-sequitur

is that what happens when you smoke too much pot
Oh, I get it now. You were trying to be funny.

I guess telling bland and uninspired "jokes" is what happens when you don't smoke pot.

i'm on that ethical high ground
You can call it dumb if you want, but implying that putting something into your own body is somehow unethical is retarded.

]Believe what you want, but it's been explicitly stated out-of-game that 7 and 10 take place in the same universe.

The whole multiverse thing is more of a highly probable theory, though, I'll give you that.
Has it really? Link me to something on that? I'm not doubting you, just curious.
The Ultimanias haven't been fully translated, so I can't really link you to them. Here's the summary, though:
Quote
In Final Fantasy X-2, a member of the Gullwings named "Shinra" proposes the concept of extracting the life energy from within the planet Spira. In the Final Fantasy X-2 Ultimania guidebook published by Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X-2 scenario writer Kazushige Nojima stated that the character Shinra and his proposal are a deliberate nod to the Shinra Company of Final Fantasy VII, and also revealed that he envisioned the events of Final Fantasy X-2 as a prequel to those in Final Fantasy VII. This connection had previously been hinted toward by Kitase and lead Final Fantasy developer Yoshinori Kitase during an interview in the Final Fantasy X Ultimania Omega guidebook, and was again detailed in the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega β€” two other official publications of Square Enix.

All FF's not in the same universe?

Tin foil hats on and join the 'theyre all in the same universe' club.

Not that i believe it myself and it would be a mess, but the recurring crystals and LR's ending would sort of support that theory
They're all in the same multiverse, and some games are in the same universe, on different planets (such as FFVII and FFX).
That's just a lot of fan speculation. If anything it's just reoccuring themes for them. I highly doubt they're connected at all. The only theory for 7 and 10 was because one NPC in 10.

If anything, the only ones really connected are 2 and 4 since you see Kain as a kid, his father is a dragoon, and he says when he grows up he wants to be. That and a place called Missidia is in both.
Believe what you want, but it's been explicitly stated out-of-game that 7 and 10 take place in the same universe.

The whole multiverse thing is more of a highly probable theory, though, I'll give you that.

Even if you had the legal right, you'd have to probably jump through a bunch of hoops, when it should be as simple as walking into a hospital and asking to be put down. Without question. You can't do that.
Now this I obviously agree with. No one has the obligation to live, but our species would die if no one chose to have children on the off chance that they would be living a terrible life.

21450
what gives you the right to kill people who don't want to die?
Here's a better question:

What gives you the right to give birth to people who may not want to be born?
You can end your life, if you choose.

You can't end your death.
