Like Casper said! Fuck Africa! What are they even powering they don't have electricity or running water
It's more about the choice of media coverage. One thing is objectively more important than the other.

Don't know why it took me so long to figure out that Fierce Mild is a Zesty alt.
It isn't.
Sure it isn't.

It seriously isn't.
There's this new thing called a proxy.

Nothing you would like.
So nothing to do with intelligence? Mostly fantasy and such with intriguing stories? If so, then yes. Nothing that I'd like to spend time on. With intelligence I'm talking about shows where the main thing to do is to solve things through stuff that's applicable in the real world.
I don't really watch shows to prove my intelligence, more just for entertainment. And anyway, you know the main stuff I like. Twin Peaks, Community, Gravity Falls, Avatar, Breaking Bad, The Office, Burn Notice, etc.

General Orbei accepts Ireland's offer and begins sending the nation shipments of coal, iron, and peat through the soldier line. With the first batch of cargoships built, trade is running at full, yet limited capacity with Mongolia via Norway. Various new food types are received, improving the average person's diet and reducing reliance on a single crop (although shifting this reliance to trading with another country. "Ah well"), while the mines dig furiously to fill Mongolia's demands for Iron and fuel, requiring a second coal mine to be founded in the South of Ireland for it's own uses while the one up north is intended for trading purposes.
Also, one of Tryptameme's pigeons which was sent to Ireland came back with notification of an interest in his discovery of diamond-studded armor. In response to this, he sends out a gift; 10 pounds of diamond studs for the Irish king so he may see the combat advantages himself. Dan receives the studs and instructs one of his disliked aides to wear one while he begins testing the strengths and weaknesses of the armour. Much of Dan's jabs and strikes to the shaking aides' torso are deflected with ease causing damage to the iron sword, but where the studs are less dense (along the sides and bends in the armour), a few slashes fleck off the studs at the joins and became targets for his following strikes.
With the aide dragged away for recovery and the armour inspected further after being removed, Dan places an order with the Ethiopian empire for 500 suits of this diamond studded armour, with added notes for suggested improvements if possible. A payment is offered of several ships' worth of Coal and Iron for the suits, to be paid upon delivery of the suits, as Dan expects them to take time in their construction (and it gives Ireland's mines some time to build up a hoard of these materials for the trade in the meantime).
Reports from the offshore UIA have been positive for this year, with a total of 40,000 men in Mexico making headway in St. Brendan's conversion of the lands. Discoveries of an alcoholic drink known as "Tequila" created by the locals has been snapped up, which in the early days of it's discovery caused a few casualties due to the strength of such a spirit. St. Brendan intends to tax the locals in Tequila so they may keep their own money for whatever they need, while Ireland can build a trade off the alcohol.
Progress in the Canary Islands and North Africa have been also underway, with the first small landing party of 1,000 men making it to Mauritania, with early reports of a conflict in the lands north of it. Dan instructs the men not to interfere with whatever's going on over there and stay within Mauritania, and sends his foreign ambassadors off to discuss with Spain and England to figure out how further conquests of North Africa are to be considered to limit conflicts in the future.
At home, half of the 90,000 UIA defence force are stationed as footsoldiers, for now guarding ports and the construction sites of the castles-to-be across Ireland. 15,000 have been trained as archers to maintain similar defence of the coasts and cities, and of the best soldiers are picked out to become an elite guard, including defence of the King himself with special training and equipment to be administered. for the time being, these 500 are differentiated with a clover on the shoulders of the armour to signify their skills and loyalty to the King and Ireland. The remainder (29,500) are retrained as mariners for the navy, with further orders for sailing battleships to be constructed.
80,000 further soldiers have also been created, with specialised training underway for desert climates and warfare to be sent to North Africa and 1,000 to remain and rotate in the Canaries.
Military Assets -200,000 strong UIA. -90,000 as home defence -45,000 footsoliders -29,500 mariners/naval personnel -15,000 archers -500 Elite UIA -80,000 in training for North Africa, expected to take 1 year until ready -40,000 in Mexico (55% converted) -9,000 in Canary Islands, to be moved to Mauritania over this year. Progress to be detailed next post or year. -1,000 in Mauritania (1% converted)
Foreign Policy -Trade with MONGOLIA: Iron, Coal, Peat for Food -Order placed for 500 suits of diamond studded armour with improvements suggested to ETHIOPIA -Diplomatic relations sought with ENGLAND and SPAIN to discuss future conquests in North Africa. (see relevant coloured text above) -Early shipments of Tequila to be sent back to Ireland for trade on total conversion of Mexico.
Domestic Policy -Orders placed for more battle/solider transport ships, totalling 5,000 in 3 years
I must've misinterpreted your earlier post. We have an abundance of natural resources like iron and coal, and need as much food as we can get. I thought you were offering to send us food in exchange for iron, coal, and peat, not the other way around.

Not much to know that everyone doesn't already.
Do you read books? If so, on what topics? What genres? I made this thread because I wanted to recommend you a book, but I realized that I don't know much about you.
Not really. I watch more TV than I read books. But when I read, it's usually coming of age stuff or fantasy. I especially love The Catcher In The Rye.

When do you drink it? If you drink it in the morning you should really eat something with it.
I drink it throughout the whole day, usually up to an hour or so before I go to bed. I just drank a cup of milk + coffee, though, and it didn't really upset my stomach. So that might just be what I have to do from now on

your body obviously can't tolerate black coffee. there's no way around this
Ugh, I suppose you're right...I guess drinking it with milk is better than giving it up altogether, or reducing the amount I drink per day. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the meme free advice, Ryle
