He was pretty much our Hitler. In fact, Hitler, Trump, and Jackson have much in common. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrumpismThe roots of Trumpism in the United States can be traced to the Jacksonian era according to scholars Walter Russell Mead, Peter Katzenstein and Edwin Kent Morris. Mead, a noted historian and distinguished fellow at the conservative-leaning Hudson Institute acknowledges that the Jacksonians were often a xenophobic, "whites only" political movement.
Andrew Jackson's followers felt he was one of them, enthusiastically supporting his defiance of politically correct norms of the nineteenth century and even constitutional law when they stood in the way of public policy popular among his followers. Jackson ignored the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Worcester v. Georgia and initiated the forced Cherokee removal from their treaty protected lands to benefit white locals at the cost of between 2,000 and 6,000 dead Cherokee men women and children. Notwithstanding such cases of Jacksonian inhumanity, Mead's view is that Jacksonianism provides the historical precedent explaining the movement of followers of Trump, marrying grass-roots disdain for elites, deep suspicion of overseas entanglements, and obsession with American power and sovereignty. Mead thinks this "hunger in America for a Jacksonian figure" drives followers towards Trump but cautions that historically "he is not the second coming of Andrew Jackson", observing that "his proposals tended to be pretty vague and often contradictory", exhibiting the common weakness of newly elected populist leaders- commenting early in his presidency that "now he has the difficulty of, you know, 'How do you govern?"
Political science scholar Morris agrees with Mead, locating Trumpism's roots in the Jacksonian era from 1828 to 1848 under the presidencies of Jackson, Martin Van Buren and James K. Polk.

Looks like discussion has finally ended on Sep7agon
For now, perhaps a popular YouTuber or some other famous person online would mention this site on their videos and then that'll give the site more revenue.
Now accepting auditions for the first round of Sep7 branded V-tuber personas

whos an artist here? someone draw that
Yeah very few people here have a greater online presence. I could help, but literally no one on this site even respects me enough to call me she. It's pretty lame and while I'm here, I won't be sticking my head out for anyone. Best thing you can do for now is get popular on YouTube, that's free advice.

I liked KH1 and 2 as a child and I thought the whole "light and darkness" stuff was super deep when I was in middle school.
"The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes..."Okay I'm very easily impressed for sure, but don't tell me that's not hype as hell

Most fans agree with you there, but I'm one of the holdouts. I relish every second of the prologue. I think when I was a kid playing it for the first time, I was like "who's this bozo, give me Sora" just like everyone else. When I play it now, though, it's easy to accept that I'm in for a three-hour ministory, sit back, and enjoy some stellar plotting and characters. I wouldn't say that it needed to be so long. I mean, you could've skipped the Struggle thing, skipped the Seven Wonders thing, and yeah pretty much wrap up the entire prologue in a half hour. But the fact that it was long helped it, it helped immerse me into this universe, care about Roxas and the town, and actually believe in what they were selling me instead of it being an expositiony mess. Imagine if you were already in the mansion after only like, 25 minutes of setup. It would be a mess. or if it did, it didn't need to be so boooooring
Aw see, I was never bored. I can see why you say that, though. It's a deliberately slow pace, it's kind of supposed to make you feel like Roxas and his friends in the beginning there. It's supposed to be the drawling end of a summer, and the characters are bored themselves and are trying to find anything to do. I don't know, I appreciate the slow burn. I think it drew me in more, almost like how a drawn out, slow scene in a David Lynch movie draws me in more.

Also, how can you watch cutscenes like this without getting chills? For every dumb Goofy/Donald moment, there's a moment like this. Spoiler The prologue in KH2 is just perfect in every way. Perfectly captures the lazy Summer days vibe so well first of all, but then there's this added layer of sadness upon realizing it's all fabricated. Every memory, friend, and rival, was so insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but so important in the actual psyche of Roxas. I'm not a good explainer, but there's something about each passing day of the prologue that's just so aesthetically pleasing and really gets me invested into that world. KH2 is amazing. I love the Organization characters and their goals (plus Ansem reveal later), but seriously, nothing in any Kingdom Hearts game beats the first two hours of KH2.

You guys suck I love Kingdom Hearts, faults and all
Orgasmic music + fun gameplay is all I ask for. Also the story is epic and left me in tears sometimes
gameplay thus far has mainly been mashing the shit out of the X button, which isn't really my idea of fun
I mean that's the core concept, but unless you've been ignoring the abilities section for both games, it's not really that simple. A lot of abilities are combo finishers, and those require to press square on the last hit of your combo for a different move, but with those you need to know how long your combo is and when you're coming up to the last hit. That's just one example, but other abilities unlock more moves like that. Magic (with shortcuts) is also a lot more varied and doesn't equate to just pressing a button. KH2 does a bit better with this. I mean I admit you'll press X 80% of the time in combat, but it's not really a press X to win situation unless you're playing on Beginner or Normal. There's a lot of strategy to combat, like which enemy to attack first, dodging, blocking/counterattacking, etc. One reason why I like the combat is that everything has to be precise and you need to time your moves right. Anyway I can see why it might not be for you, but a lot of people don't give it enough credit. I'd recommend playing on Proud mode at least, if not Critical mode. It makes things a lot more fun and makes you appreciate the intricity of the combat mechanics a lot more.

He literally made a comment about how he was going to murder a child or some stupid shit like that; didn't even bother to type "In Minecraft" or anything.
Oh yeah, Ian reported a post of mine to the fucking FBI and I got a nice visit from a plainclothes agent. Could've ended up in jail for years if I wasn't a pleasant, polite person. So that was pretty messed up. ...what?
it was very obviously worded as a joke, you only reported it to a government agency to spite me fatherlynick had the same incredulous response as me, look at his comments in the thread I posted

The only crisis is if Trump won't leave office in January
Technically all these challenges are legal and Trump is still the president It's kinda pathetic but let's not blow things out of proportion
Demanding that state electors literally ignore the results of the election is not legal. Calling Trump a traitor isn't overblowing anything.

https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/commentary/trump-coup-republican-party-state-legislatures-electors-20201122.htmlBut itβs time now for all the laughter to die in outrage. Because we need to state in the clearest and most unambiguous terms what is happening in America in November 2020: The president of the United States is using the power of his office to try to overturn, by any means necessary, the fair and democratic election that will remove him from office. In a nation that stakes its claim to βexceptionalismβ on 44 peaceful transfers of power (despite one that wasnβt) over 231 years, its current leader is attempting a coup.
Itβs not a joke. Itβs a crime. And there ought to be consequences β for Trump and his enablers, and to ensure this never happens again.
The president, the Republican Party, and some of its key elected officials crossed a line last week when they went from frivolous courtroom challenges and insistent recount demands β annoying and antidemocratic, but legal β to demanding that election canvassers and state legislatures ignore legal vote counts, untainted by any evidence of fraud, and simply award unearned electors to Trump. Don't move this to Serious. It's not a political issue, it's a crisis that's unprecedented in the history of our country. The last thing anything of this magnitude happened was the Civil War. We're living in crazy fucking history, this is bigger of a crisis than 9/11. We've faced foreign threats many times - this is a murky, internal one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-couphttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_backsliding
