Exactly! A lot of good ol' childhood books are all bright and cheery all the time, but WTP actually touches on things that every kid goes through. I remember being depressed as a kid and loving those books, in no small part because of the treatment of Eeyore. He may have been a constant downer and a total mood-killer, but his friends still loved him unconditionally regardless and just wanted the best for him, always helping him out. It was actually really heartwarming.

My dad on the other hand could not give a shit about what he wears. He has no embarassment and almost no ego. He could be driving $100k cars but nope he's happy with what he has
They get along perfectly which is what i find strange considering how different they are
