*Up until Season 6.
Season 5/6 are a completely different show, tbh. Whether that's better or worse is pretty up for debate, but the undeniable glory days were the second and third seasons. IMO, it goes like this 2 > 3 > 5 > 6 > 1

It's just another example of an out of touch foreign dev studio trying to write a game.
If you saw a grand church with majestic intricate architecture, but it has a stain on one of the windows, you'd probably say the whole church was garbage.

If you need good dialogue to get attached to characters, you're watching TV/playing games wrong. Because I prefer characters to have decently written dialogue, which is one of the most integral parts of a character?

Who fucking cares about Spirits Within? Jesus, a company makes fun of one of it's failed project and everyone loses their minds. I feel people here played episode 1 of LiS and judged the entire game based on that.

Key word there. The plot of LiS is incredible, and it's easy to get attached to the characters.
Dialogue is a key element to likeable characters.
It's hard to get attached to characters if their dialogue hurts to listen to.
