My argument is that sobriety should be of utmost importance to everybody. Even if the effects are temporary.
Well, that's where we differ. I couldn't care less about sobriety. The brain may be the most important organ, philosophically or not, but enjoying your life is much more important than taking care of an organ. "You're a moron if you need drugs to enjoy your life", I'm sure will be your rebuttal. I never said need, it's just a bonus. You can enjoy your life without video games or TV, too.
