It doesn't help creativity whatsoever, it helps pure work ethic. You can write a 2,000 page novel in a few days if you're hopped up on adderall, but it would be filled with cliches and terrible overused plot devices and such. It's great for studying, though, and I'd definitely take some if I had it. But I'm not talking about drugs to help me study. I've been studying for sooooo long (since like 10pm) and I'm still getting nowhere. I've accepted I'm going to fail this shit, I'm talking about drugs to help me cope with that. I've never failed a test before. This is the hardest academic thing I've had to do so far, I hate it. I should never have taken chemistry tbh thanks for the judgmental help though I guess

The characters were probably the most human up to that point though in the series. Minus FF 4.

Um, yes? They're two completely different games. One thing I disliked about VIII, though, was the last part of the game. I didn't buy Squall's whole character transformation (he was such a better character in the beginning), and Ultimecia's Castle was such a boring pain to get through. IV
