Any characters who act prewar, I'm going to love right off the bat. The 50s culture and mannerisms blended with the 50s technologial vision of the future comes together in such a mystifying way. I wouldn't mind a non-fallout Fallout set entirely before 2077, tbh.

I draw a heavy line between freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Should you be able to scream "bomb" on an airplane? Of course not. But you should be able to hold any opinion, no matter how ludicrous, and be free to tell others about it without any persecution. Protecting that is what's most important.

Hence, why I loved the character and disliked the quest. I wish they would've centered the quest around something else, and left it ambiguous if Jack's beliefs were true or if he was just an eccentric conspiracy theorist.

His quest didn't do him justice, it was pretty meh. But goddamn, I loved Jack as a character so much. Super interesting backstory, so charismatic you ignore his blatant disregard for others (that part in his office with Edward was so fucked up), and just overall hilarious and intriguing.
Like I said, though, really disappointed with The Secret of Cabot House in general. Way to put a lid on a questline with so much potential. It was really short, too - just two little errand quests with one on top. I was hoping to see a lot more of the Cabot family, and I expected and wanted Jack's eccentricness with regard to alien artifacts and such to be more of an interesting character trait than the straight-up point of the story.
