"give me attention"
I'm better than you
hey man, if you have to judge others to feel better about yourself, then by all means

Also, realistically, the human version of you would die. That includes consciousness.
not how it works

consciousness is literally just your brain
And to transfer it you'd be making a copy. One version of you dies and the other continues like nothing happened.
Your body dies, no version of "you" would even comprehend the death. To you, it would just be a transfer. The "dead version" of you wouldnt even be able to process anything, so you wouldn't have any personal, conscious attachment to it.
You'd have no way of knowing of the old you felt anything in the process, you mean.
Exactly. "You" would always be the new you, as a result of that.

So they scan and copy my personality, memories, experiences, etc. basically my whole ego, but where does my consciousness go?
If they terminate your body, you are dead. What carries on is a copy of what you were, not you. You die right then and there.
Debatable. If they transfer your brain to a robot body then you don't die, and your consciousness transfers.

If you cant handle being in a restaurant for the duration of a single song you don't like, then you're a ripe sensitive cunt and need a good fucking to toughen you up a bit.
it's a joke

I wasn't literally in a restaurant

I'm just glad no one's ever really tried to make a meme out of NIN. <_<
not to the extent of Linkin Park or Nickelback, both passably decent bands

except QotSA aren't even popular
They're quite popular, actually.
not 1/10 as popular as Evanescence

literally a meme band
They are more relevant now than Evanescence and Josh Homme has a far more bigger legacy. He pretty much made the entire Stoner genre with Kyuss.
"Stoner" isn't even a fucking genre

I hate weed culture so much

Evanescence is long forgotten.

I bet Verb doesn't like My Immortal lmao
It's tolerable, but GOD the chorus is bad.
what the fuck, the chorus is the best part

searching for people who share opinions with me on this forum is impossible
WHEN YOU CRIED I'D WIPE AWAY ALL OF YOUR TEARS
WHEN YOU SCREAMED I'D FIGHT AWAY ALL OF YOUR FEARS
Yeah, great chorus.

"hehe I'll make fun of this thing by typing on CAPS lollolll11!!"

people LOVE hating popular things, they think it makes them look interesting and contrarian

ikr, you've even provided a supporting example.

like Queens of the Stone Age was playing in this restaurant, so I went to a different restaurant

Their music is just extremely angsty and melodramatic, and that's easy to make fun of.
Well, duh. It's sad and emotional. Doesn't make it bad.

People who don't like Evanescence are like people who don't like chocolate
I didn't even realize that people stopped liking them until the last anarchy tbh

What's wrong with them? Someone posted WAKE ME UP one too many times and suddenly leddits started hating them from misunderstanding the joke?

And it's just as bad when an employer chooses one employee over another because of facial features.
This is actually not that bad a thing in many cases.

A salesperson, for example, gains a lot from being physically attractive or at least pleasant to look at. You may not like it, but unless you're consciously trying to be le open minded, you are statistically more likely to buy from an attractive seller than an ugly one.

This isn't the case in many other fields, but it is in enough jobs that you can't just totally discount it.
EVERYONE should constantly be trying to be open minded. You can stick a "le" in front of it, like social tolerance is some kind of joke, but that just makes you look ignorant.

Why does this exist

13859
And it's just like applying for a job. Anyone can apply for any job in this country--but only a few will actually meet the qualifications and get the job. We are the president's employers, make no mistake. We will not employ who we do not deem fit for the position--so, from that standpoint, I don't see a problem with having two simple prerequisites.
And it's just as bad when an employer chooses one employee over another because of facial features. Bringing up something bad doesn't absolve this other bad thing that's happening.

What would be the point?
Look exactly how you want, no risk of stupid injury throughout the day, no need for daily sanitation and preparation, no need for nutrition or risk of overeating, no risk of internal health problems such as organ failures, no risk of external health problems such as viruses or sicknesses or allergies, no need to worry about the heat or the cold, and so on
I'd rather have all of this without the robot body.

Machines can malfunction--this would be an absolute nightmare.
And I'd rather make $5k a week working from my couch, but it's not happening

The point is that the robot body gives you some things you can't get without it.
