Warhammer has space coast guards or whatever, but BB knows he's fictional and can therefore break the fourth wall and the dynamic of the universe to his whim

who wins

The most important? That's hard to say. I'd personally say either fighting poverty or restructuring the FDA as a whole and eliminating the complete corporate ownership of it.

There was a similar quote from Two and Half Men, that went something like
"Courage isn't absence of fear, it's taking action despite fear"

so there you go
I like that version, it's more concise

I haven't been eating much lately. Yesterday I had a chicken sandwich and some flax/yogurt, today I've just had some pretzel sticks

but I just discovered a kickass quote that's apparently from the show:

Quote
"Can a man still be brave if he's afraid?"

"That's the only time a man can be brave."

um discuss parts/quotes you like from things that you hate

Fresh Prince is the only show ever that has consistently made me laugh (or at the very least smile) for pretty much every episode.
Really? Jesus Christ, even if I'm watching some stupid shit like King Of Queens on daytime TV I'll laugh or smile once in a while. Jokes don't have to be expertly written to illicit some humor.
Well, I don't watch a lot of TV, either. Maybe if I searched something out, I'd find something.

But much of what my mother or father likes to play in the background, though, is just mind-numbing shit like Friends.
I guess I'm just more easily entertained, lol. I'm not going to go on Netflix and watch a full episode of Friends, but I'm sure I'd chuckle at a few of the jokes if it was on in the background.

The Flood / Re: I decided to watch Family Guy today
« on: March 06, 2016, 01:59:44 PM »
Yeah, I loved that part. It was hilarious.

You must not be an avid Family Guy viewer. The whole joke is that, for the five hundreth time, Peter is off doing some zany, wacky, idiotic scheme. Throughout the whole show, Lois just takes it, just watches him, just lets him have his way. But fourteen seasons in, she just can't take it anymore and gives Peter the beating he's deserved for years.

If you think this is controversial or over-the-top in any way, you haven't watched Family Guy. Remember when they had an actual domestic abuse plotline? When Stewie tortured Brian to the point of burning him with a flamethrower? When there was literally a plotline where Peter tried to give Lois a miscarriage? Offensiveness is this show's bread and butter, the scene from Shot In The Dark was nothing.
So, you DO like dark humor? Or you only like dark humor when it's done extremely poorly?
No, dark humor is a pretty slim part of an average Family Guy episode. I just watch because the tropes they use match my sense of humor perfectly (flat whats are the best thing ever) and because it's more meta than Community sometimes. The video in the OP is one of those times, it's a pure in-joke for people who have watched the show since season 1. It's violent, but that's not dark humor. The examples I listed were dark humor, but I didn't list them because I liked those parts, just to show Whiteflame that there's much, much worse stuff in Family Guy than Lois taking her well-needed revenge.
