it was so great
I hate it in the 'oh fuck this is spooky and I don't like it ways'. It was really well done, kind of like the museum of witchcraft.
I didn't hate it because I thought it was bad, I'm just easily spooked by that kind of stuff. Some of the quieter sections of Metro 2033 and Last Light and my first run of Dunwich Building were awful for me. fun though, Bethesda can really nail certain atmospheres/ feels when they decide to.
ah, that makes sense. I could tell that it was all pre-war by the second tape, so that really eased my fears a bit. When I first went into the sewer it was indeed freaky as hell I really need to play Metro 2033 at some point

(I don't necessarily agree with this guy's interpretation of it, just provides good background) I've been playing a lot of Fallout 4 lately, and it's always the pre-war stories and holotapes that interest me the most. Especially what goes down in Fens Street Sewer. I love the 20s noir aesthetic Fallout 4 has in certain points, but this location kills it. Has anyone found Fens St Sewer and the Dear Detective tapes yet?
