In the name of cultivating good reasons and avoiding bad reasons, I'd say no. Only subjective subjects, such as preference, are safe from the rektening.
Not even, because it's possible to demonstrate whether someone should have said preference.
If I have a preference for color films, and I think a movie like Raging Bull is bad because it isn't in color--sure, that's my opinion, but it's a garbage opinion, because it completely undermines the artistic vision Scorsese had in making that decision.
But Scorsese's vision doesn't matter there. If you think black and white filming is an inherently bad trait in movie quality, that really can't be disproven by facts.

Is it really reasonable to criticize media by its audience without investigating it yourself?
Not generally, but it gives you an indication of the type of people who enjoy it.

You're entitled to believe whatever you want to, but some opinions are supported by facts and are therefore more valid than others.
But opinions on things that can't be supported by facts (subjective things like TV show quality) are all equally valid.

Depends if you like heavy handed lessons about how you're a bad person for doing bad things to pixels
Sounds too preachy. I think I'll pass.
Yeah, you're supposed to love all of these happy monsters (even though they attack you) and spare them instead of being a bad person by killing them for the XP. It's meant to deconstruct the RPG trope of killing all the monsters that you can, but just comes across as so preachy and condescending. The fact that almost all the characters are insufferable doesn't help things.

It's so fucking ridiculous when someone has to apologize for shit like this. "Hurr I made a movie that no one forced any of you to watch and you faggots are still upset about it 7 years later. How can I ever make it up to you???"
lmao ikr you don't see me freaking out and writing hate mail to MNS for The Last Airbender "you RUINED my childhood" well, if your childhood can be ruined by a two hour motion picture then maybe it wasn't as rosy and perfect as you remember it

We have like two threads on this already faggot.
Yeah but Class was acting like a smug shit in both so I wanted a Fair and Balanced thread.
Plus muh statistics
keep holding this false hope that Trump has more than a zero percent chance of winning a general election
it will just be all the more fun when he loses in a landslide
It's funny how you cucks have been saying this ever since he entered the race.
LITURARLY ZERO PERCENT CHANCE HE'LL WIN DELEGATES
ZERO PERCENT CHANCE HE'LL WIN THOSE STATES
ZERO PERCENT CHANCE HE'LL WIN THE PRIMARY JUST YOU WAIT HAHA S-SERIOUSLY GUYS LITERALLY ZERO R-RIGHT?
You're literally putting words in my mouth. I never said any of those things. I've only said he won't win the general, from day one. I love how you can just say "you cucks" and suddenly I have the exact same opinions as any other liberal who ever lived. If I was like that, I'd think Trump is some huge racist.

You want to give us some empirical data that shows his supposedly abysmal chance of winning a general election?
mark my words that's my empirical data bookmark this thread and come back when he loses terribly and you'll all see how right I am

Pls Bernie
I'd adore it if Bernie somehow turned the tables and got the nomination, but it's pretty clear we're shaping up for a Trump against Clinton race. And regardless of how you feel about him, it's almost guaranteed that Trump doesn't have a chance in the general.

beat you to the thread
Yeah but this thread has discussion value.
Kasich literally has a zero percent chance of getting the republican nomination and Trump literally has a zero percent chance of winning a general election. Cruz was the GOP's only shot in 2016

If it's unacceptable for women to not wear tops, then it should be unacceptable for men to not wear tops.
I completely agree. You'll never find me with a shirt off, and if I were in shape, no woman would ever be able to coax me into it.
I was only giving a simple explanation for why female breasts are considered sexually appealing, because a lot of people are like, "durr, FOR SOME REASON, these balls of fat are considered appealing!!! humans r weird!!!"
Annoying.
Oh, I see what you mean. I thought you were saying it as a justification for the double standard.

Doesn't matter. What's socially acceptable for men HAS to be socially acceptable for women.
So you're saying the acceptability of a social norm for women is contingent upon whether it's acceptable for men? In other words, men come first? That's kinda sexist, isn't it?
No, it's not a question of what should be "acceptable." It's a question of what should be unacceptable.
All sexuality should be socially unacceptable.
No, I'm saying that they have to be equal at all times. If a change is made in attitude regarding women, the same change has to be made regarding men, and vice versa. If it's unacceptable for women to not wear tops, then it should be unacceptable for men to not wear tops.

Breasts on women are, for some reason Because they're a symbol of fertility and maternity. They're baby-feeders, and large baby-feeders, from a primitive biological perspective, have a greater likelihood of propagating the species than smaller ones do. It's not that complicated.
Doesn't matter. What's socially acceptable for men HAS to be socially acceptable for women.

Same reason a guy can go fuck ten women in one night and be a god, but a woman does it and she's publicly shamed.
People who think sexism is dead are idiots.
Those are man-sluts, or Chad for short. Nobody likes Chad, not even Chad.
Plenty of people do. See that whole lock and key analogy shit.

Same reason a guy can go fuck ten women in one night and be a god, but a woman does it and she's publicly shamed. People LOVE to say this.
But it's false. The only people who treat sluts like gods are other sluts.
Everyone else hates them. Doesn't matter if they're a guy or girl.
We've had this discussion before. Just because it doesn't happen where you live doesn't mean it doesn't happen in 90% of America. People love to say it because it's true.
