lets be honest, if he didnt spend a chunk of his money on drugs and the like, hed have some money so he wouldnt need to do such a thing
he spent a miniscule amount of money on drugs

remember when he bought a $10 bag of shrooms and everyone freaked out and said he should've found a $10 hotel room or some shit?
i mean, if you're in a bad financial situation, spending $10 on drugs IS kinda a chunk of your money
not really....

$10 for a night free of stress and responsibles is going to do better for your emotional situation than a $10 meal from McDonalds
i dont know about you, but id rather not starve to death than feeling good knowing ill die if i dont buy that meal.
if he was literally starving to death, he would've bought food
if he was smart, saving money and buying necessities would be a priority over any type of drug
what are you not fucking understanding here

$10 cannot buy you shelter
$10 cannot buy you a job
$10 cannot buy you a long term source of food

if Sol was on the brink of starvation or dehydration, he would've used the $10 to buy food or water. His issue was a place to live

you're the kind of person who thinks homeless people shouldn't be allowed to buy alcohol. Fuck off.
save the money and use it to buy necessities, its not a hard concept to grab. drugs arent a priority.

and they shouldnt because of the chance of abuse which would further ruin their lives.
Booze five dollars

place to stay thousands of dollars

not a hard concept to grasp

you try being a homeless person, and have people tell you you have to hold onto every dollar you find on the ground on the off chance that someday, after years and years of saving, you'll have rent money for a month.

Like I said, fuck off. You have no idea what it's like to be homeless, you entitled piece of shit.
because trying to be happy in an unhappy environment is gonna make things better for yourself. drugs are better than trying to better yourself so you risk an addiction so your life can be a lot worse off than before.

yea, ok. im totally entitled. uh huh. perfect.
And for some people, alcohol makes them happy. You have no right to judge.

Thanks for admitting you're an entitled piece of shit, though, glad to finally have some honesty here.
so you prefer people getting addictions to alcohol than trying to better their lives through other means? like your view on happiness is such horseshit and holy god it makes me wanna punch a fucking baby. yes, its your fucking body. yes, you deserve to be fucking happy. no, you cant do a meaningless activity which can potentially ruin your fucking life just for a decent night in an already shit world.

and i dont care if im entitled, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see how risks work with taking drugs over other things.
I prefer people coping with life in whatever way they choose. If a homeless man, who has nothing to live for and hates everything about himself and the world, wants to escape from his shitty reality, you're in no fucking position to tell him he can't. Your worldview is so fucking self centered and holier than thou it's ridiculous. You have no idea what it's like to have nothing, and you have no grasp of how people cope with that nothingness. For a homeless person to turn his life around in general, he needs a lot of money, a lot of time, and a lot of help. That's obviously the goal that they should strive for, but that goal means nothing if they can't live through their day to day life. At the end of the day, when a hobo is sleeping on a piece of cardboard and wondering whether or not to kill himself, a drink in his hand will let him live into tomorrow. You're trying to take that away from him because you live in this clean little environment and you just know the best fucking thing for everyone on the planet. When really, you have no goddamn idea.
considering my family somehow made it through with life to get where they are now, from mexico with barely anything, they were smart with how they managed money by not wasting it on stupid shit like drugs. its not fucking hard to understand that drugs are worse than food. you can spend your money however youd like, but in the end its your fucking fault for choosing a retarded ass way of trying to cope with life. happiness through killing your body just makes things worse for you and dig you deeper in a hole. but because they do drugs and become addicted, well, they cant fucking do anything because they wanted to be happy for a night.
No one is giving up a fucking meal to drink alcohol, Jesus Christ. It's a side thing. If a homeless alchoholic is starving, he's going to buy food.
if he didnt buy those beer cans and drugs, he wouldnt be fucking starving.
He didn't, I just fucking told you he's buying food. When he bought the alcohol, he wasn't starving, now he is starving, so he's buying food

The concept of saving money for important things when someone is in a shit situation seems to be lost on Class, don't bother Gasai.
yeah man, that $5 is really going to go to something

not like a place to live costs thousands of dollars a month or anything

not like some people need alcohol to get through the day without shooting themselves or anything

"you don't know what it's like"

this has got to be some form of logical fallacy

Do you really think--do you HONESTLY believe--that if I were homeless and sick and poor and lonely and desperate, that I would EVER resort to doing drugs or alcohol?

Because I wouldn't. So what the fuck does it matter whether we know what being homeless is "like" or not? It doesn't change anything. It doesn't change the fact that drinking is the dumbest fucking thing ever. Your life is only going to get worse and worse and worse. Alcohol only exacerbates your problem.

No one's saying you can't drink it. But you shouldn't. If you value your intelligence, you should never drink.
I know you wouldn't, because you don't need alcohol to cope with your problems, and I doubt you'd ever even become homeless in the first place. But not everyone can fucking say that, genius.

Is kava really sedative without disrupting mental clarity?

For the most part yeah. Some make you sleepy others just relax you.
Interesting. Have you ever had kava in cooking? What does it taste like?

It tastes like fucking dirty tbh. My brother loves the stuff and grew to like the taste but I can't get past it.

Could be used as an alternative to pepper maybe. Earthy taste that probably wouldn't overpower strong flavors.
One more question, what quantity is sufficient for the effects to take effect in your experience?
To make a strong, effecting kava drink is relatively simple:

1) there's a one tablespoon of kava to one cup of milk ratio, put the amount of kava and milk you want into a blender and blend for five to ten solid minutes. You can't put the kava root in boiling liquid, it has to be cold.

2) Strain the mixture through a t shirt or other fabric, any strainer with holes in it won't work. You have to kind of "knead" it, so that you get all of the liquid

3) Plug your nose and down the kava drink. It will make your mouth numb

THANKS, LABOR UNIONS!
Yeah, blame the people fostering laws that look out for employees, not the people maliciously circumventing those laws to make even more money.

I didn't know over acting and fake crying on screen translates to hard earned money.

She's a successful actress, cmon now. I'm not even saying she's that good, but she damn sure has earned her money.

The thing I find extremely funny is that all of these Hollywood actors/actresses/directors are liberal are fuck. But when it comes to their money, they don't want to obey the laws that they voted in favor of. Just shows the typical liberal mindset. Can't have your cake and eat it too libtards.
Generalizations are fun! If Emma Watson, a liberal actor, did something, then that means every liberal actor did it!

Cuphead.

Borrows the classic Disney cartoon style. Amazing aesthetics, I don't think it's available yet.
ugh, shivers

I despise classic Disney. Like, Steamboat Willie era. All the characters are so goddamn creepy and off putting

Call of Duty costs $60 and literally no one buys it for the single player
Hey! I used to buy the WW2 Call of Duties for their Campaigns, and I bought the Modern Warfares for their Campaigns/Story.
I'm talking about modern COD

WaW had an amazing rendition of WW2 in their campaign, and Modern Warfare 1/2/3 had a pretty solid plot. Even the first Black Ops was a pretty interesting spy thriller.

But nowadays with this scifi genre switch, I'm surprised anyone plays the COD campaigns. Still has great multiplayer, though.

lmao at all these losers hating on Sol
I have a job, earn the stuff I buy, and actually providing something to society other than rotting in a jail cell for stealing tools. I don't think that would warrant being called a "loser."
Being a member of society doesn't make you a winner any more than being a thief does.

"Loser" just refers to your attitude. Boo hoo, some guy you'll never meet stole power tools from a corporation. You'll live.
