American Horror Story is not a fucking comedy. That's my point. You can make a drama about schoolchildren being killed, but there's no way you could make a comedy flick about it in this day and age.

The cool thing about capital punishment is that we the taxpayers don't have to pay for a scumbag to live better than most of the rest of the world.
Rapists do not deserve sympathy, pedophiles do not deserve sympathy, murderers do not deserve sympathy.
There are very clear rules that should be followed, or forfeit your rights. The choice is yours of course.
Any life sentence without parole should be punishable by death and should be enforced.
Prisons shouldn't be nearly as cushy as they are now, I agree with you there. But it's not about giving monsters sympathy, it's about not becoming monsters ourselves. Killing someone when there's another option is always wrong.

Rights can be taken away, the law has that power to take all kinds of rights away.
Now tell me if you see the difference in the life of an innocent child and the life of a pedophilic rapist.
Human rights cannot be taken away, that's the whole point. They're granted to you merely for being a human. Civil rights are granted to you by a government. Two different things. The life of the child is more important in a pragmatic sense, but both lives are still a guarantee. You can't take away a life as punishment because of something that the person did. They're still a human, and they still have a right to live.
