Im positive she's fine now. I told her to get some sleep and talk to her friends once she woke up.
You did a good thing by helping her work through it. Hopefully you can relax now, it's never easy dealing with someone like that.

What? Literally every story has a strong protagonist who (usually) doesn't need to rely on others. It's an integral component to a good story, and no one has a problem with it when it's a dude. But you write in a strong female protagonist and all the redpillers come out of their caves and start bitching about SJWs.
You said a strong, independent woman shouldn't be a requirement for a story, but if your protagonist is a woman, it is a requirement. If your protagonist is a man, then a strong, independent man is a requirement.

What people are complaining about is when a strong independent woman character becomes an obligation for any story shoehorned in by whiny feminists
Because then, being a woman becomes the defining trait of that character
No longer are we suppose to focus on her traits or background, we're supposed to focus on the fact that she's a woman

I'm talking about when someone writes a great, strong, independent female who holds her own as a character and not a member of her gender, and yet whiny basement dwellers bitch about "LOL STRONK WOMYN MEME", as if it's impossible for a girl to have those traits in real life. And you can keep insisting that no one does that, but plenty of people do. Just look at the post I linked earlier.
