Even when I read about the Holocaust or American slavery, I don't get emotional. I'm pretty detatched. But something about the SWT really pisses me off. I don't know why...any ideas?

Maybe have the banner redirect to this page instead? It's kinda trashy to have a big link to a "page not found" error on the homepage of a site.

like let's say I was a new member and wanted to be able to have a custom nameplate
you just go to the Sep7agon store and add that to your cart. You could still unlock it for free, but it would take longer. or if I wanted a one-time ban reprieve, but that would obviously cost more smaller things could be like a flair next to your name for $5 or default post color change for $20 bigger things could be buying monitor powers for $50 or ninja powers for $500 what do you think of this completely original idea cheat post below with ideas for purchases and their costs so we can get this ball rolling Quote Custom nameplate unlock -- $35 1729

The Flood / Poll to add a word censor to Sep7« on: August 25, 2015, 05:22:54 PM »
The degeneracy of this forum has gone on long enough. Kids browse this site, for pete's sakes. We have to protect these innocent souls, and the countless guests who will stumble across this forum in the future, by making it completely safe for work. The first step is obviously to censor any words that wouldn't be allowed in a PG-13 movie. These include:
--N**ger --F**k --C*nt --Pu**y --Go*k --C*m --Or***m --The phrase "p***h m****y" --B**ner If anyone uses one of these words once, I would suggest a punishment of a 15% warning level, rising by that amount each time a word is used again. Thank you for helping to make this community a better place. 1732

Quote A woman was stopped at Beijing Capital International Airport for trying to carry a bottle of cognac worth ยฃ120 on the plane. Faced with either having to throw the whole bottle away or drinking the contents, she opted for the latter. The woman, surnamed Zhao, downed the entire thing at around noon, because she didnโt want to waste the bottle of Rรฉmy Martin XO Excellence that she had purchased at a US airport earlier on her journey. Ms Zhao then became incredibly drunk. She apparently started shouting incoherently and fell to the floor, which is where she stayed until she was removed by security. A security officer was quoted as saying: โShe was so drunkโฆ she couldnโt even stand up by herself. We took her to a room in a wheelchair so she could rest.โ She was given medical care, and was picked up by her family after being released by police some hours later. The woman didnโt sober up until 7pm, when she realised what she had done. 1737

so pretty much there's an episode where Picard and the gang are cruising along and they see this probe, and then it shines this light on Picard and he gets knocked out. And then he wakes up in this really primitive village and he's all confused right
so he talks to people asking where he is and all that shit, and they get freaked out and say something to the effect of "what are you talking about, you're our shaman, you've lived here your entire life." He argues with them and says he's a starship captain and all that, but they just say he was very sick and had a month long fever dream where he imagined the events of Star Trek: TNG eventually Picard accepts this and realizes that he indeed just hallucinated that. He lives out the rest of his sixty years in the village, has a wife and kids and all that, and generally lives out an entire life. He learns to play the flute very well. In the closing days of his life, when he's like 96 or some shit, he lives to see his society learn the basic mechanics of space travel and send a probe up into space and then he dies but he wakes up right back on his ship and only like an hour has passed since he initially got knocked out. Instead of being relieved or happy, he's crippingly depressed and just wants to see his wife and kids again. He remembers everything about the life he just lived. He also finds the flute he learned how to play on his bedside dresser, somehow. so the question is, what if your entire life turned out to be something like this? 1739

The Flood / Remember the Berenstain Bears?« on: August 21, 2015, 07:37:05 AM »
If you think I misspelled the title, you're not alone. I doubt anyone here is affected by it, but there's this pretty interesting psychological phenomenon called the Mandela Effect which causes a large group of people to collectively remember something incorrectly. It's a new observation and still being studied pretty heavily, but I find it pretty interesting.
Apparently, a sizeable number of people explicitly remember Chick-Fil-A being spelled Chic-Fil-A at some point as well, even though it never has been. Some are trying to use this as evidence to support the idea of multiple timelines, but I just see it as a mental effect. |
